This one is about My Ex; now this guy can lie with the best of them and make them believe it. he didn't cheat though so don't read too much into the song, i was just too lazy to find a good song about a liar.
I gotta make a playlist for this song later. Any recommendations?
Anyway...Without further ado:
PATHOLOGICAL LIAR:
You're a liar and you can't help it
Your lies bury us and you let it
You dropped the ball but now I'm lifted
Not leaning on you was worth it
I tried to end it sooner but you wouldn't let go
Trapping me with guilt and lies and I should've said no
Now I'm paying for my mistakes with their "I told you so"s
Restarted my life because now I know
You had me under your spell
Winding everyone up with the lies you'd tell
Not bothering to consider how I felt
You were just so engrossed in what you wanted
You'd lie your way into simple situations
That you'd have to lie your way back out of
You'd dig yourself deeper than you could fathom
And drag someone with you, if not everyone else down
The worst part is that your own lies, you'd believe
And everyone else would get treated accordingly
Confused, because their innocent actions were received maliciously
