(Lani's pov)
I woke up the next morning to a howl. I can't believe I had stayed asleep through the full moon, or at least I hope I did. I ran out the door and Into my packs meeting place, where my whole pack was standing.
"Hey guys."
"What the HECK was that?!" Derek yelled.
"What?"
"Yesterday. In the woods!" He said.
"She's getting in my way! I'm sorry she called me a million times to tell me to back off! If I don't bit him tonight we'll have to wait until the next full moon!" I said.
"That doesn't mean you kill her! You could start a Pack rivalry and we dont have enough Betas to go against her pack!" He said.
"Why? Why is her pack so important?!"
"SHE'S IN THE ALPHA PACK LANI! They're training her to be an Alpha! If they get angry at us, there's absolutely no way I can beat them with a bunch of Angsty teenagers!" He yelled.
"Then why did you bite us?!" I yelled.
"Because I believed In you!!!" He said. "I had faith in you guys."
I looked down at the ground, feeling guilty about what I'd been saying.
"Sorry..." I whispered.
"Just Make sure you bite him tonight." Derek said.
"I will." I said, walking back into the city. Right as I was going to walk out of the woods a group af werewolves appeared in front of me. I jumped.
"Who are you?!" I asked, I soon noticed that their eyes were all red and not yellow. "The Alpha pack." I whispered.
"She's beautiful." I female werewolf said.
"We've heard you tried to kill our Beta." A male werewolf said.
"I did not try to kill her!" I said. All of the sudden the man slashed me across the stomach and chest with his claws. I fell backwards onto the ground and Blood started coming out of my mouth. (It happens when I werewolf's body tries to heal itself) A minute later I tried to sit up, but I couldn't.
"Wounds made by an Alpha, they don't heal sweetie." Said the woman, Then they walked away, leaving me on the ground covered in blood. I was attempting to yell for help but it all came out as a whisper. After the 5th time I tried to yell my eyes started to get heavy. The last thing I saw was a blur of a person running toward me, but then the darkness overtook.
