Chapter 19: Hunters and Alphas

(Lani's Pov)

"Has anyone seen Stiles?" I asked.

"Nope. He's probably off with that girl."

"You know we'll have to kill him if he gives any information to the Alpha pack, right?" I asked.

"Yeah." Scott said sadly.

"Wait... wheres Liam?" I asked.

"Huh... I dont know..." Scott said, glancing around at the pack.

"We need to look for him. We'll give Stiles a day then we'll go to the police station and report him missing. The Alpha pack can't really do anything in jail." I said.

"Alright." Scott said. "Where do you think Liam would be?"

"No clue, we all met the boy yesterday."

"Okay, well try to catch his scent." Scott said.

"Scott and I will go looking, Isaac, Boyd, and Noah, you guys go find a place to stay. When you find one howl and we'll come to you." I said.

"Okay." They said, Then we all took off running.

"Hold on, Hold on, Hold on, I've got something..." I said.

"Yeah I smell it too." Scott said.

"I smell... Blood." I said.

"Liam's blood?"

"I can't smell the difference between peoples blood." I said.

"Wait." He said Stopping. "He's really strong here."

Scott bent down to the ground and started Moving the Leaves and Sticks. I went over and started helping him, then this super loud high pitched sound caused Scott and I to cover our ears. It sounded like a dog whistle. After it was over we kept moving the stuff until we saw the inside of a hole. We kept digging and saw Liam in the hole, he had blood all over his head and I looked around, confused.

"That hole isn't deep enough to do that to his head." I stated. I looked around and saw a trip wire. "He fell over that." I looked back toward the hole. "And hit his head on that rock, then fell into the hole. Scott the Alphas didn't do this. This was hunters. Werewolf hunters. I smell People, if we don't get out if here now the hunters will kill us."

I jumped down into the hole and sat on my knees next to Liam.

"Liam? Liam?" I said, slightly shaking him. "How do you wake up an unconscious person?"

"Slap him."

"Scott I'm not going to slap him."

"I think you should slap him."

"Scott I'm not going to slap-"

"SLAP HIM!"

"OKAY!... wait did I just agree with you?"

"Yes, and now you have to slap him."

"Ughhhhhh." I groaned. I lifted my hand up to slap him, When he took a deep breath in and his eyes shot open. I quickly hid my hand behind my back and shot Scott an evil glare.

"Were you about to slap me...?" Liam asked weakly.

"No... I was waving at Scott..." I lied, sending Scott another glare.

"Waving at Scott...? Okay whatever. I can't see straight, is that normal?" He asked.

"Well... Uh no, But you'll be okay." I said. I helped him up and Scott and I helped him out of the hole and started walking.

"I'm dizzy. Is that part of being a werewolf or am I about to pass out?" He asked, then he fell and Scott caught him.

"I'll go with the second option." I said. Scott picked him up bridal style and we continued walking. We heard a howl a minute later and followed it. We came up to a waterfall, and saw Isaac, Boyd, and Noah.

"What happened?" Isaac asked.

"Liam fell in a hole."

"He fell in a hole?"

"Yep. A hunter trap. Speaking of now we've got an Alpha pack AND hunters looking for us." I said. Scott and I took Liam in and laid him on a bed.

"How is there furniture in here already?" I asked Isaac while cleaning the blood off of Liam's forehead.

"This used to be the hideout of the Blue moon pack, until they all died."

"How did they die?" I asked.

"They were killed by hunters, but it was far away from here, We're the only people alive that know about this place." He said.

"Well I guess thats good." I said, putting a patch on Liam's forehead. "I hope he wakes up soon."

"We all do."

Isaac and I went outside and saw Cora and Erika on either side of Derek and the vet behind them.

"Okay your dead, You're dead, You died in my arms, and so did you... Wait am I DEAD?!" I asked.

"Umm... no." Derek said.

"Whaa...? How are you guys... Alive...?" I asked, running up to them and hugging them all individually.

"Because of me." A voice said. I turned around and saw Derek's uncle Peter.

"Oh great. The evil uncle that attempted to murder all of us and that Lidya brought back from the dead. yay." I said.

"Who's Lidya?" Asked Boyd.

"A girl that Stiles had a crush on for the longest... Thats it! That's how we get Stiles back!" I said. "I
hope she still likes him."
