Unknown POV
I stared down at him. My own kin, lying half dead before my eyes. I called in a healer a few hours ago; they should be here by now. As if on queue a man in purple robes charged in. "You called for me?" I nodded. The mans' gaze drifted over to his patient. "Oh...but sir! That's Hero-" "I know who he is! Just heal him please!" The healer nodded reluctantly and rested his hands on Herobrine's shoulders. A magenta haze surrounded them as his eyes glowed a deep purple. I heard the crunch of bones and the threads of muscle and sinew binding the body together again. Within minutes he opened his eyes and drew a deep, shuddering breath. I couldn't help but feel a fondness towards him as I saw his blinding white eyes scan the room like search beams in the gloom...until they came to rest on me. His eyes widened; he staggered backwards. "N-n-n-notch!" I smiled at him. "My brother. Welcome home." He stared at me. "Wait...back up! Did you just say...BROTHER?!" I looked down, nodding. When I looked up again, he had an incredulous look on his face. "But I have no brother!" "You do." I said sadly. I scrutinised me, narrowing his eyes so the light only can out through tiny slits. "If you really are Notch, creator of Minecraft...tell me, where is Emily?" I looked at him. "She is safe. Deadlox won't harm her, remember, he loves her as much as you do, and he was there first!" He stared at me again, eyes opened wide though. He took another shuddering breath. "This is a lot to process in one go..." I pursed my lips. "I understand." Suddenly he glared at me. Lips drawn back as he snarled, I stepped back, I'd forgotten just how formidable Herobrine could be. "No! You don't understand! You haven't had to suffer as I have all these years! I'd you really are my brother...WHERE WERE YOU WHEN I NEEDED YOU MOST!" And with that he threw back his head and howled. The sound was explosive, the house we were in rocked under my feet and lighting bolts showered down, enveloping us in white light. Herobrine lowered his head and met my gaze. His eyes burned into mine, leaving a blinding mark on my retina that would never fade. "I-I-I-I'm sorry..." He narrowed his eyes again. "Too late Notch, I'm not the person you though I was..." Then an explosion like the force of a hundred creepers blew me off my feet as the room vaporised, taking Herobrine with it.
When the skating stopped, I opened my eyes a crack and horror dawned upon me. He hasn't been able to tell his brother what would happen if he let his powers overcome him like that...he would be absorbed into MineCraft forever. I had to find him before it was too late...
