The Herobrine Within Me...

First Date?!

Herobrine's POV

Emily nuzzled into me, sighing in contentment. I smiled. We were down by the lake, with our friends. Sky and Blaze were messing around down by the lake, daring each other and trying to push each other in the water. "I can't even remember life before you came along..." "Oh Hero, you're so sweet!" I shut my eyes. Everything was perfect. Suddenly, I heard someone cry out and I opened them, before chuckling and closing them again. Looks like Blaze finally achieved her objective of pushing Sky in the lake. I heard Emily giggle. "What?" She looked up at me. "They're perfect for each other, aren't they?" I grinned. "Yeah, but they won't admit it!" We both laughed. "Hey, you two lovebirds! Can someone get me a towel?! I'm friggin' soaked!" Sky stumbled up the water bank, sopping wet. Blaze followed close behind, clutching her stomach as she staggered about in hysterics. "Yeah, brought one with me, had a feeling something like this would happen!" "Ha ha Herobrine!" Sky tugged the towel out go my hand and dried off his hair, ruffling it up. I saw Blaze glance at him, then blink and look away quickly. I couldn't stop a smile creeping up onto my face. Sky stared at me. "What are you smirking about?" "Noooooothing!" He glared at me, he knew what I was smiling about...

Sky's POV

"What are you smirking about?" "Noooooothing!" I glared at him. He knew. He knew how I felt about Blaze. Dammit. "Hey Em! Wanna go slay some monsters?!" Emily got up. "Yeah!" They ran off. I flopped down onto the ground beside Herobrine. "Hi." "Hey. Soooo, what's up?" I sat up, staring at the lake. "I like Blaze. A lot. But I can't get up the courage to-" "Ask her on a date?" Herobrine finished for me. "Yes." "It's ok. All you have to do is get her when you're on your own together, then take a deep breath and ask her." "You make it sound soooo easy!" "That's cus it is!" "Ok, thanks Herobrine." He smiled at me. Suddenly, a thought came to mind. "Is Notch REALLY your brother?" Suddenly, Herobrine's eyes changed from a soft, warm glow, to a hard, cold flint. "Yes. But I wish he wasn't." I opened my mouth, but closed it again, deciding not to probe deeper. "So, Sky, what do you do for a living?" "Well. I'm part of this gang that's known as TeamCrafted, or TC for short.""Cool." "Yeah, it is." "Anything else?" "Well, I used to have a girlfriend- fiancée, called Dawn. But I used to call her Dawnables." "That's sweet." "Yeah...but things didn't work out..." "Oh." "Yeah." "I used to have a girlfriend too." My eyes widened. "REALLY?!" "Yes. Her name was Sarah...she used to call me Hero too." "Oh..." I didn't really know what to say. "But?..." He sighed, the sound full of sadness and longing. "She rejected me when my eyes changed, she thought I had changed too..." I stared at the ground. "Jeez, and I thought I had it bad!" We stayed silent for a while, till another question occurred to me. I advanced cautiously this time. "Herobrine?" "Yes?" "Uh...Are the legends true?" "Some of them..." "What do you mean?" "I did some bad things Sky...stuff I'm ashamed of...I killed innocent people..." I scooted away from him. "Uh huh." "But I reset it now...if there was some way to turn back time and reset everything...then believe me. I would." I nodded, before shuffling back to sit beside him.

Then we heard the sound of approaching footsteps and laughter. "'Girls are back." "Yup." "Hey guys!" "Hi!" "Hey." "Sup?" Blaze sat beside me, and Emily sat on the other side of Herobrine. "So, did you have a good time?" "Yeah! It's was awesome! Em totally NAILED those creepers!" Emily grinned. "Yeah!" I shifted awkwardly. "What's up Sky?" "Uh...could I talk to you in private please Blaze?" "Yeah sure!" As we walked away is saw Herobrine giving me the thumbs up. We walked round to the other side of the lake, behind some trees. "Uh, ok, Blaze?" "Yes Sky?" "Uh, will you go out with me?" Her eyes shone. "OMG! YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW LONG I HAVE WAITED FOR YOU TO ASK ME!!" We grinned at each other as I wrapped her in a bear hug. "OMG! My first date!" I heard Blaze squeal. I laughed. ~Thanks Herobrine...I owe you one dude.~ I thought. I drew away, looking into her shining red eyes. "This is gonna be the best night ever!" I smiled...and kissed her. She kissed back. It was quick, but heartfelt. I took her hand and led her back to where Herobrine and Emily were waiting. We were all smiling...
