The Herobrine Within Me...

"Not quite dead yet!"

Herobrine's POV

When I opened my eyes again I was a few miles away from the lake where Emily and I kissed. "I have to find her." I growled. Deadlox would pay for the scars he had left in my back. I closed my eyes, white hot fury coursing through my veins, fuelling my hunger for power. My eyes shot open. ~Hunger for power?! What's happening to me?~ I shook my head, clearing it of these horrible thoughts. Then I focused on Emily. I sighed blissfully as I imaged her. Her glossy purple hair, cascading down her shoulders, her deep blue eyes, staring up at me, full of honesty and love. "Take me to her..." The light grew brighter had brighter, till her image faded away. "I'm ready."

Emily's POV

I awoke slowly, trying to forget the previous happenings. Hero was dead...not even a near immortal being like him could survive the brutality of Ty's enchanted axe. I could still remember seeing the light fade from his eyes...tears brimmed on my eyelids. I heard someone walking up to my door, then knocking on it. I was back in my room, where I had live when I was with Ty. We were still in the village, but I'd noticed that Ty kept his axe hanging from a belt round his waist. I stumbled to my feet, lunging for the door handle. "Emily." "Ty." I nodded curtly at the figure in my doorway. "How are you?" "Just fine." I replied tersely. "Never been better now you've murdered Herobrine..." He stared at the floor. "I'm sorry Em...I just-" I pushed last him. "And DON'T call me Em." I snarled under my breath. Stomping to the door I turned to him at the end of the room. "Well?" "Em...EMILY, where are you going?" "Away from you. I'm not living with a murderer." He narrowed his eyes. My heart thumped as he advanced towards me. Grabbing my arm he said menacingly, "Who asked you?" My eyes widened as fear as he began to pull me away from the door. "No! Wait-" Then the wall exploded.

Herobrine's POV

The wall exploded as I threw myself into it. I skidded into the room, taking in Emily's situation as I summoned every ounce of manic I had left in my system. Deadlox's face was worth the wait. "B-b-but I KILLED you already!" I smiled at him evilly. "Not quite." Then I yelled and a wall of force slammed into Deadlox, blasting him into the next house. A surprised villager looked up and eyed him warily. When he didn't get up, he turned round and ignored him. "HERO!" I whipped round, grinning as Emily ran towards me. I embraced her, stroking her hair as she snuggled into me. "Oh Hero, I knew you'd come back for me." "I would never leave you at the mercy of HIM." I shot a glare over at the motionless body in the next house. "I thought you were dead." "So did I." I replied hoarsely, remembering my 'brother,' Notch. "C'mon, we should get out of here before the locals come looking..." I drew her closer to me, shooting one more venomous glance at Deadlox, sprawled out, unconscious, or better, dead, before closing my eyes and spiriting us away to my cave in the mountains.

When we arrived I heard a voice shout and someone laugh. Emily pulled away from me as I opened my eyes and came face to face with a very familiar looking face and pair of sunglasses. "Sky." I grinned as he pulled me into a spontaneous bro hug. "Dood, you're ok! Blaze has been worried SICK about you guys!" "We're ok now, Hero saved us." Then I saw Blaze running towards us from the cave's entrance, "BLAZE!" "HEROBRINE!" She yelled as she catapulted into me, squeezing the life out of me. Then she turned to Em. "EMILY! You DOODS are ok!" "YEAH!" She and Em ran back to the cave, laughing as they went. I caught Sky staring after Blaze with a wistful look on his face. "You like her? Don't you?" I raised an eyebrow playfully. He jumped. "NO! Of course I don't! Who told you that?!" I laughed. "But seriously. You do. Don't you?" He looked at the ground, shuffling his feet awkwardly, embarrassed. "Uh...kind of." I shook my head. "It's not something to be ashamed of, I bet she likes you too. But you're both too pride to admit it." He smiled. "Yeah. Anyway-" He said, changing the subject. "We all thought you were dead!" I grinned. "Nope, not quite dead yet!"
