Ty's POV
I ran through wheat fields and forests; jungles and villages. I had to get as far away from Herobrine's posse as possible. Eventually I came to an abandoned mineshaft. Once upon a time I would've been terrified of the one with the white eyes lurking down there. Now I would welcome the opportunity to slay that girlfriend stealer. As I made my way down into the murky depths I wondered where the 'darkness' was. "Where would I go if I wanted to hide in the shadows?" I thought aloud. Then it hit me. The darkest place in all of Minecraftia. The end.
WEEKS LATER
I ignited the portal, standing on the brink of the dimensions. The breeze from it ruffled my grimy clothes; my lank and greasy hair lifting off of my dirty features. "Finally. Today I will have my revenge." Then I jumped into the portal. There was a brief silence in which I could hear nothing but my heart pounding in my chest; almost deafening me. All the light was sucked out of the world, then I was spun over in mid-air and landed on my back. I faced upwards, staring at the midnight sky, then I rolled over and lifted myself up onto all-fours. I could hear the distant cries of the Enderdragon as it watched over the land. An enderman passed by and I quickly looked down. After it had gone I stood up and walked over to a strange looking building a few blocks away. It looked like some sort of altar. I cast my gaze around; there was no other players here. There was a sword resting on the obsidian frame in front of me, yet it was unlike any I'd seen. The blade was black; a darker shade than even the Enderdragon's heart. It was edged with lines of silver and steel; the hilt forged of rubies and diamonds. I gasped, revelling in the sheer beauty of it. Tentatively, I grasped the handle. It fitted perfectly in my hand. I gazed at it. Suddenly, I heard a voice. "Who DARES holds my mighty blade?!" I jumped and the sword clattered to the ground. The voice seemed to issue from the night itself...I couldn't see it, but I could feel its presence near to me. The air was thick with tension as I struggled for words. "M-m-my name is-" "Ah, Deadlox, I've been waiting for you." I swallowed my fear and stepped forward. "I have a proposition for you, oh Great Darkness." "Oh do you?" I smiled evilly, my eyes glinting in the ruby light of the sword's hilt. "Oh yes Darkness...I do."
