Sky's POV

We crashed into the ground; the shockwave jolting me awake. "Herobrine?..." His eyes snapped open, scaring the crap out of me. They were glowing brighter than I'd ever seen them, the white searing my eyes. "You ok?" "Uh...considering I've just seen that I'm doomed in the future to a grotesque death...I don't think 'ok' really covers it." "Ah." I got shakily to my feet, my brain struggling to process all that had happened in the last few hours. I realised we had crashed into the clearing where we had been when we went back in the past. "Well, that was easy." "Are we in the right time?" I checked my watch; it displayed the time and date. "Yup. We're in the right century!" "Phew. I was worried." Herobrine grabbed my arm as we teleported back to the village. "Uh, dude, anymore timetravelling will make me sick!" "Sorry." Up ahead I saw Blaze and Emily running towards us. There was no, "WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!" or "I'm gonna kill you!" The only thing they said was, "Steve's dying." Herobrine's expression was one of pure fear and horror. "Take me to him." We ran after them. Eventually we came to Herobrine's old cave. I shivered at the memory of the monster emerging from it, and the voice speaking of impending doom. I could tell Herobrine felt the same way, because he took a moment to steel himself before we entered. I wished I hadn't. Steve's broken body lay twisted on the floor, blood pooling around him, eyes glazed over. His eyelids flickered, then closed. Herobine stood there. Horrified at what he had done. Suddenly, I remembered something the voice had said. "This is what you will become..." Herobrine thought he had become a monster. Like the voice had said. I walked over to him. "Focus on healing him. You can freak out later, ok?" "Ok Sky." He replied shakily, before making his way over to his dying brothers' side, and kneeling down. He stared mournfully at him for a minute, then pulled himself together and lay his hands on his brothers' heaving chest. He closed his eyes. I felt the air turn static and heat up. My amulet shimmered and glowed bright purple, sensing there was intense magical disturbance nearby. "Herobrine?..." Then his eyes flew open and searing bolts of light shot out. I turned away quickly; the light was too bright, spots danced before my eyes as my head ached. I heard a screaming noise, and a deep throbbing vibration that passed though the cave in waves. I shoved my sunglasses further up my nose and whipped round quickly, hoping to snatch a glance at the mind-blowing spectacle behind me. In that second I saw something that would haunt my dreams forevermore. I saw Herobrine; eyes open and radiating power and magic as his body trembled with pain and effort. Steve lay on the ground, his body convulsing and twisting in a healing fit. (Where the body is healed too fast and goes overdrive in panic.) Suddenly, Steve's eyes shot open and they glowed a bright, piercing blue. Too bright. I cried out, my eyes burning. I shut them and ran out of the cave. Unable to bear the screams and pain any longer. I kept running blindly; just trying to get away. Suddenly, I realised I was lost. "Great!" I walked round in circles for a bit, then the fear hit me. "I'm lost...in the mountains...alone." I reached for my BUDDER sword. My source of comfort in situations such as this. I remembered when I got lost in the woods once at night, all alone, no friends...well. That went well. I ended up being bitten by a werewolf and becoming SkyWolf.* Thank budder that's over now. A noise behind me shook me from my reverie. "Who's there?" "Hey Sky." "T-T-Ty?!" He emerged from the shadowy bulk of the mountain. I'll admit...he's looked better. His headphones were scratched and his hair was lank and dirty, still hanging over half of his face, hiding one of the two dark eyes glaring at me from underneath. His clothes were worn and scuffed, his sword was chipped and hanging off of his sword belt, and his mouth was twisted into a cruel smile. On the other side I saw the diamond axe he'd used to bludgeon Herobrine to death with. I shuddered; repulsed he'd left my friend's blood on it to dry and darken. Peeling off of it like old skin. "Ty...what's happened to you?!"

"This is what happens Sky, when your friends cast you out, your girlfriend leaves you, and you become an outcast. All because of Minecraft's deadliest enemy, playing the good guy." "Ty...what?" "You really think he's your friend? He'll kill you the first chance he gets." I lost it. "COMING FROM THE GUY WHO HACKED MY BEST FRIEND TO DEATH WITH AN AXE THAT'S HANGING OFF OF HIS BELT RIGHT NOW, WITH INNOCENT BLOOD DRYING ON ITS BLADE!" I launched myself at him, my vision clouded with anger. My BUDDER sword in hand I plunged it into his arm. "ARGH!" He seemed more angry than hurt. In retaliation he swung his axe at me. It buried itself in my shoulder. "GAH!" I pulled myself free of it, tears streaming down my face in pain. I gasped as my sunglasses slid off as I fell to the floor. Ty staggered to his feet and planted his foot on my chest. "I'm sorry Sky, but you chose the wrong side to fight on." He stopped when he saw my eyes. "Sky...your eyes..." I growled in anger. "Yeah. What about 'em?" "They're..." He never got to say. An arc of pure white light hit him full on his side, blasting him off of me. I grabbed my sunglasses and put them on. I froze when I saw Herobrine stalking towards us out of the smoke caused from the blast. He looked terrifying. His eyes smouldered and his teeth were bared. I saw claws slide out of his left hand as he wielded an infinity enchanted diamond sword in his other hand. Ty clambered to his feet, spitting when he saw Herobrine. "The triumphant returns. NOW WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH MY GIRLFRIEND?!" He didn't wait for an answer. He charged Herobrine, sword in hand; his axe now dripping with my blood. I glanced at my shoulder. It was congealed with crimson liquid and ragged muscle, my skin ripped through with my clothes. I watched as they collided. Herobrine swung his sword and it hit Ty in the stomach. Ty screamed as blood poured out of the wound. He snarled in anger and swung his axe, it fastened itself in Herobrine's shoulder. He cried out and grabbed the handle, wrenching out. He threw it back and Ty caught it in his left hand. "What have you done with Emily?!" "I did nothing! Emily chose me over you!" Ty roared in anger and ran full pelt towards Herobrine. Herobrine clenched his teeth and gripped his diamond sword. Suddenly, I saw something change in his white eyes. They hardened and a tinge of red crept into them, a shadow flitted across behind them as he readied himself for the attack. "No." I muttered. "WAIT!" I ran towards them but they were already fighting. I thrust my BUDDER sword between them, cutting off anymore attacks. "No." Ty glared at me. "Move Sky!" "No." Herobrine realised I had intercepted them for a reason. "What is it?" "If you fight...you will regret it." I fixed my gaze on Herobrine. "ESPECIALLY you." He looked down at the ground. "I wasn't thinking." Then I screamed as something slid between my ribs, a blade of cold, soulless steel. Sucking the life out of me with every inch. "HEROBRINE!" I fell to the ground, the sword protruding from my side. "Sky-" "THIS IS WHAT YOU GET FOR TAKING EMILY AWAY FROM ME!" Herobrine cried out as Ty's axe embedded itself in his leg. He fell to the ground. Both of us now defenceless, Ty clutched his sword. "You shall die first Herobrine. Then Emily will be mine again!" "Wait...please..." Just as Ty was raising his sword, ready to kill Herobrine for once and for all, a shape flitted out of the shadows. An ocelot. "Oh look. A cute little kitty cat. Let's see how cute it is when my sword's run through it." I stared at the ocelot. It stared back. It was then that I realised it had blue eyes. Piercing, blue eyes. "No way." I breathed. "What?!" Herobrine's teeth were gritted in pain as he tried to pull the bloody axe out of his leg. "Can Steve shape-shift?" "Yeah, we both can. Why?" "'Cuz that ocelot is staring at us...and it just winked at me." Then the ocelot began to stand up, until it stood on its hind legs. Then it's head grew longer and broader. Long brown hair grew out of the top of its head, and it's stumpy legs grew out into a pair of lanky arms and legs. "I'm not a 'cute little kitty cat.' I am in fact, Steve, the great Minecraftian. And if I were you...Deadlox, I'd step away from my brother, or you will be very much, 'dead.'"
