Chapter 6

After the subclasses ran off, I walked up to Licht with a toothy grin on my face. I brought out a giant hammer out of nowhere, replacing the grin with an evil look. I hit him with the hammer and ran away. I wiped away years that decided to appear.

The next day I walked into Licht's place looking for Hyde. I looked around the entire place to which I found him near the kitchen. I ran at him, and as I tackled him, I said, "Hyde! ". "What is with you, y/n-chan?" I didn't answer him, but looked up to see Licht. I stood up and walked up to him. I formed a fist and hit him on the head, "You idiot! I was really worried about you. What would you have done if the time limit ended! If we hadn't found you when we did, you could be dead right now! " I yelled at him. "Licht, so help me I will-" I was interrupted by Licht wrapping me in a hug. "I'm sorry, okay? I didn't think about it, but I know you would be missing me" he started, and I relaxed in his arms, "I mean, who wouldn't miss an angel like me?" he boasted, ruining the moment (photograph by ed Sheeran was playing. Imagine that, then Licht ruining the moment. though it was funny! Ok I'll go away now) I shoved him away from me, "Way to ruin it, Licht! " I yelled at him teasingly. I then wrapped my arms around him, "But thank you. You and Hyde are the most important people in my life " I said just above a whisper.

An hour later, me and Hyde sat on the couch listening to Licht play the piano while reciting Shakespeare. I came across a piece I was not familiar with, "Hyde, do you know about All's Well That Ends Well? I have never read it" I said. "My Juliet, how could you not? That is a comedy written in the early 1960's" he informed me. I flipped to the next page in the book I was looking at. "In delivering my son from me, I bury a second husband " I recited. "Interesting first line, don't you think, Hyde?" I asked. Before he could answer, my phone rang. I answered the call and stood up,"This is y/n, who am I speaking with?" I questioned. The voice I heard made my almost loose my balance. "Go to hell" I muttered, "You are not wanted" I said and hung up. I looked to Licht who had finished the song, "Hey, Licht, is there a room I could be in by myself for a few minutes? "I asked. He nodded his head yes, then got off the bench and led the way to a room. Once he left, I blasted Five Finger Death Punch. I was so pissed off. Why did he choose now of all times to speak with me? I was lying on the floor while Jekyll and Hyde was playing, tears streaking my face. I had an arm over my closed eyes as I heard a door open and close. I heard the clicking of shoes come near, meaning it was the door to my room that moved.

Looking through my hair and blurry eyes, I saw Hyde standing in front of me. "What's the matter y/n-chan? Who was it that called you? " he asked. I sighed and wiped my eyes and moved the hair out of my face. "It was my so-called father. He has been nothing but a bastard to me. I can't believe after all this time he finally got the nerve to call me. He disappeared after my mother died, he didn't even wait for the burial before he left. I despise that man" I said. Hyde knelt down next to me. "Don't worry. I won't let that man get near you. That man will die before he can get to you" he said. It was sinister, but sweet of him. I sat up and got next to him, hugging him tight. "Thank you, Hyde, that means so much for you to care" I said. He hugged me back and we both stood up.

Back downstairs, we sat down on the couch together, and he kept me comfort. Licht played various pieces he had both written himself and classic pieces he had learned to play when he was young.
