Chapter 15

Waking up, I see a black cat that is so very fluffy. Behind the kitten are multiple people, including Tsubaki. The kitten watched me as I sat up. It turned to look at the others, "She's awake" it said in a tired voice. It could speak. How was that possible? Could it be..... a serVamp?

The first person to get by me is a boy with short brown hair. Who was he? Did Tsubaki know him? "What's going on?" I asked in complete confusion, "You need help" the cat spoke, "All your memories are scattered, but you can't put them together in your head. That's where I come in. Are you ready?" "Ready for what" "Just answer me, are you ready?" "Uh, sure. I'm ready". Then something happened. It was like everything was turning out of shape and mixing together. Then I appeared in a blank whiteness. I looked around and saw the cat. I stepped closer to him and he looked up at me. There was a poof sound, and he was a boy now! "What a pain... but it has to be done". He stood up and made a chalkboard appear, then a pointing stick was in his hand(that thing teachers use to point at things with. Sometimes teachers use a yardstic instead, but you get the picture) and pointed at the board.

A picture of someone was drawing itself. "You need to learn who you are, meaning you must learn everything and everyone you once knew. This person was your best friend as a child" the picture finished, and was the boy with black hair that was Tsubaki's enemy. "His name is Licht Jekylland Todoroki. A famous pianist known around the world. The two of you grew up together, having only each other as friends. With me so far?". I looked at the drawing intensely. This person was important to me. I can feel it in my heart. I can hear music when I close my eyes. I can imagine the sparkles of joy when he sees me after a long year of touring the world. I sank the what I assumed was a floor and cried. "How could I forget! He's my best friend!". The boy stepped in front of me and knelt down, "It's not your fault. It happened beyond your control. I hate to say this, but we must continue. Will you be okay?". I wiped my eyes and looked up, "Yes. This must be done". He nodded and another drawing was being made.

The boy spoke of who the next person was. "This is one of my many younger siblings. He is called Lawless of Greed. He's very entergetic and quotes William Shakespeare. I heard you also did. That was how your friendship began" he then moved in front of me and put his hand on my head. "Do you trust me?" "I do" "Then close your eyes. I'm going to show you memories of you and Lawless". I closed my eyes and waited. It started out as black, but like a movie, I saw wonderful memories. They were funny, even heartwarming. It lasted several minutes. We had quoted Shakespeare everyday in the room with Licht just to annoy him. He had even told me his other name... the name he only allowed me to call him, besides Licht who had given him that name. He understood me, and helped me get through the pain of my real life nightmares.

I gasped as I was brought back from my memories. The boy moved hair out of my face as I was breathing heavily. "You need to learn about other small things. Is there anything you do know?" he asked. "I know about my family... I know I work at a coffee shop that is open late. That's where I first saw you, isn't it?" "Yeah. You should be good for now. Just be careful. Tsubaki is very unstable. Somehow you keep him in check. Whatever it is you do, keep it up. All of us appreciate it. By the way, I'm Sleepy Ash of Sloth, the oldest Servamp. My Eve gave me the name Kuro. The others can tell you their names". We then got put back in the real world. Sleepy Ash turned into a cat and landed on my head.

I looked around the room and spotted Licht and Hyde. "You two, get over here" I said to them. "What is wrong with you! You just let Tsubaki take me, while I had no idea who he was! Not just that, you took your time to come get me! I lost my memories and only then did you show up!" I hit them repeatedly on the head. "But.... I'm grateful for the two of you. I'm glad. Now leave before I kill you!". They ran in fear and I just laughed at them.

I had a month of free time to myself before summer quarter started an this is what I got done. I feel like I could've done more, but whatever. A long awaited chapter! And @simplysamsart, thanks for the idea you gave me!
