Hyde ran his hands through the girls hair as he sat in the dark room. "Do you think she'll be okay?" he asked without looking up. "I don't know... her father is a dangerous man" Licht said, making him look up. "What does this have to do with her father?" "Everything. He is the one who did this to her" Licht explained. "Why would he do this to his daughter? I don't understand" "Neither do I. I met her in primary school years. She ran away from him. She was completely terrified, and had nowhere to go" "Did you help her out?" Hyde asked. "No. I thought she was crazy. I ran from her" "Then how did you become friends?". Licht sighed as he sat down, "I think it was over the course of the next few weeks. I went about my life, and she seemed to be around every corner. She was scared and cold. She had no place to call a home. It was a Monday afternoon with snow falling when I did anything for her. I saw her as I was headed home, and I stopped. She was covered in snow and shivering non stop. I went back to the market I had been in, and bought a Weihnachtspunsch (Christmas punch). I went up to her and knelt in front of her. She looked at me, and I held out the drink for her. I had to urge her to take it, but she did. You could see how happy she was to be drinking it. When she looked back at me, I saw her eyes shining with happiness" Licht said.

The voice of Y/n was heard saying something inaudible in her sleep, and Licht smiled as he looked at her. "The look in her eyes told me everything I needed to know. She was in a situation she didn't like. And she needed help to get out of it. The next few days, I went to find her after school each day and help her any way I could. It was the second week of December, so it was quite cold. By then, I was actually talking to her, and learning what I could. After a week, she told me about her father, and why she had ran away. You can ask her if you want to know why this is happening. A few days passed after that, and I had taken her to my house. I couldn't allow her to keep freezing like she was. She told me she felt comfortable and got the feeling of a true home being there. Throughout that year, I learned just how special of a person she is. I want to keep her safe, and I'll do whatever I have to to keep that promise to myself" Licht said.

"She's pretty amazing" Hyde said, making Licht smile, "She sure is. So of course, we can't allow him to kill her. He's an evil man" "I agree. Should we tell Tsubaki? She is his subclass". Licht was quiet in thought for a few moments, "We will. Tomorrow. I'm too tired to deal with him again" "Alright, see you in the morning then" Hyde said, standing up and walking out of the room.
