I sat in the middle of my bed, wrapped in blankets. I was in the dark, and focusing on staying calm. How could one possibly be okay when the one person who ruined their life came back? It's been a week now, and there is no sign of him anywhere. There is no telling when he will appear, and I can't risk that chance.

Tsubaki looked to his other subclass and spoke, "Would one of you go get the greed pair? She's known that boy for years, so he may know what to do in this situation" he said sadly. "I'll go" Belkia said as he stood up, "I don't like seeing her like this any more than you do. I'll be back soon" he said.

At Licht's place, he sat at his desk with music sheets scattered around the room. He was working on another piano piece. The door slammed open, sending the papers flying. He looked up to see the pink haired vampire, "You and Greed need to come with me. It's Y/n, she needs your help" he said. Licht stood up, a worried look on his face. "What do you mean? What's happened to her?" Licht asked, "... I don't know. She's not herself, and she's scared. We don't know how to help her. Tsubaki thought... you might know how to help her". "Really. Then I guess I have no choice. Even as a vampire, she can't last long without my help" Licht muttered as he grabbed a jacket and headed to the door.

When Licht arrived, he was sad to see the state of Y/n. "Y/n, look at me" he said softly. She jumped in surprise and looked at him through her h/c hair. Licht moved her hair out of the way, "Come on, let's go to that special place" he said. Y/n nodded despite the tears in her eyes. She sat up, and Licht helped her put on her f/c jacket. He pulled her by the wrist out of the room, not giving a single glance to any of the vampires as he walked out the door with her. "...How did you know?" Licht heard. "One of the vampires came to my house. The pink haired one. But that doesn't matter. Care to tell me what's wrong?" Licht said back.

"He came back" I said, stopping Licht from walking. He looked back at me, "Who came back?" he asked with wide eyes. "You know who I'm talking about, Licht. I know I'm a vampire, but he still scares me more than anything in the world" I said. "Y/n.... I won't let him hurt you. Neither will any of the deamons you are surrounded by" he said, pulling me into a tight, warm hug. My eyes brimmed with tears, "L-Licht!" "I'm always here. That won't change as long as I live" he said before he began leading me once more.

I had my back against the hard floor with my eyes closed, mouthing along silently to the music. The one song that can calm me down to rational thinking. "Thank you" I whispered, and the music stopped. I opened my eyes and turned my head to look at him. My eyes widened in fear, he was gone. Everything was gone! I was in pitch black nothingness. I stood up and looked around for any source of light, finding nothing. "What.... what is going on?" I asked, taking a step forward. But there was nothing to step onto. I was surprisingly calm as I fell several building levels down. I tumbled to the ground. If you could even call it that, and pushed myself up. I could feel blood running from scratches on my arms and face as I looked up. "Why must you make it so hard on yourself?" I heard a terrifyingly familiar deep voice ask. I flinched at the sound of his clicking dress shoes, "You can't just leave me. We're family after all. I'm going to have to punish you again" he said. I Bevan scooting backwards as I heard metal against concrete, "No. No no no. There's no way this is real" I said, and he appeared in front of me. As real as could be. I couldn't move as I looked him in the eyes. He smirked evily, "I warned you. Time and time again. Now you've gone and involved yourself with vampires. Now I have to kill you" he said, pulling me up by the hair. Wether it was from something supernatural, or my own fear, I couldn't move. He held me up against the solid black behind me, "Goodbye, sweet child of mine" he said before puncturing me on my right side. I coughed up blood, somehow nothing getting on him. I began tearing up as he ran a hand through my hair, "I'm saving you from torture. You'll be thankful. I have no doubt" he whispered in my ear as he pulled it out, stabbing me once more.

There was a swirl if him, the blackness behind him and white before I felt arms wrap around me, and began pulling me from behind. I coughed, squinting my eyes shut in pain. I opened my eyes to see Lawless looking at me with worried eyes. "He's after me" I said, bursting a fit of hard coughs of blood, hurting my throat. "This time... he's really going for the kill!" I said, everything fading away.

I seriously should have updated so long ago. It's almost 1am.... I should probably sleep... but I doubt that will happen. Anywhooo! Hope you enjoyed the chapter!
