Chapter 9

It was dark, and there was no sign of light coming anytime soon. Everything started dripping blood red. A small two-tailed fox appeared in front of me. "Hello y/n. It's been a while. I'm glad to see you have lived this long. I'm coming for you. Be prepared for this, my sweet child" it said. Then I woke up.

As I sat up, I let out a yawn. It has been three days since the night the storm passed by. I haven't been out of my room once. I have to get back to reality at some point. I let out a deep sigh as my feet touched the floor. 'Come on y/n, you've got this. You've been through worse situations. ' I thought to myself. Getting up, I grabbed a towel and made my way to the bathroom. I did my thing and went back to my room to put clothes on. It consisted of a couple different colored spaghetti strap shirts and a plain black jacket. I had headphones wrapped around my neck that hat cat ears on them, it was a light blue. I had on black boot cut jeans and combat boots to finish it off. I put the headphones on as I walked outside. Classical music was playing as I walked around mindlessly.

After about an hour, the cold began to seep in through the jacket. I looked around me to see I was in an unfamiliar area. I heard a crashing sound and whipped my head around, only to see a two tailed fox with gray fur. It walked up to me and I picked it up in my arms. It sniffed my neck, then rubbed its head against my cheek. I giggled at this. "How cute. Your fur is so soft and clean. Normally an outdoor animal would have at least dirty fur. I wonder why you don't? " I asked out loud.

In the distance I heard my name being called. In seconds, Hyde landed on the cement, crushing it in the process, while carrying Licht. "Put me down you deamon! " Licht yelled. He was quickly released as Hyde began talking, "But Angelcakes, we wouldn't have gotten here so quickly if I hadn't carried you". Then as usual, Licht began kicking him. " Die you deamon! Die and die again! ". I let out an exhausted sigh, " Why are you even here!?!? " I yelled, causing them to stop. They faced me with a serious look on their faces, "You need to put down the fox. He is a deadly SerVamp who wants to start a war! He attacked the Sloth pair, who knows what he will do if you don't get away from him! " Licht yelled. "He's right" Misono said appearing next to him, "Please put down the fox. We don't want you getting hurt! " they said together.

At that moment, the fox jumped out of my arms and a poof sound was made. In the next moment, a very tall man with black hair that was wearing a kimono and sunglasses low on his face laughed like a maniac for a few seconds. I saw my reflection in the shades, and saw fear. "Do not be afraid, I don't wish to harm you. Only them" he said, then turned to look at them while holding my shoulder. "I knew you would come for her, but I can't have you interfering. I'll fight with you another day! " then something happened and we were in a building with very expensive furniture. "Now, my sweet y/n, we need to talk" the man said, sitting on the couch. "Don't think about escaping, my subclasses have been told to kill you if you try" he said. I quickly sat down as far away from him as I could.
