Connie panicked later that week as her period was now 2 weeks late, she contemplated on takin a pregnancy test, the thought of her being pregnant terrified her, she knew the longer she left off taking the test if wouldn't change the result of positive or negative. She really wasn't sure if she was ready to become a mother... and the other worry was that it might not be Jacob's child. Oh how that would complicate everything.

"You okay?" Jacob smiled as he walked into her office that afternoon. "Yeah" she smiled forcefully. "You sure? Your face says otherwise Con" he smiled. "Talk to me" she shook her head. "Nothing it's just work, so much to do" she shrugged. He nodded and kissed her cheek before walking towards the door. "Have lunch with me?" She smiled and looked at the clock. "Sounds good" he smiled

Half way through eating lunch, Connie's office door knocked. Connie jumped off Jacobs knee and Jacob moved around the other side of the desk. "Come" she shouted.

"Mrs Beauchamp, there's a lady at reception asking for you" Connie sighed. "I'm in the middle of something here-" "she says she needs to speak now" Louise replied. "Fine" Connie rolled her eyes and got up. "Back in a moment staff nurse masters" she smiled and headed out the door to reception.

"Ah Helen..." Connie smiled. "Connie" she replied. "What happened with you and my josh, he just said that you both broke up and he needed space, clearly half a world away" she laughed lightly. "Yeah... I'm sorry.. it just wasn't working out-" "I'm really sorry to hear that my love, I loved the thought of you being my daughter in-law" she chuckled and placed her hand gently on her knee. "Yeah..." Connie smiled sadly. "Anyway, I hope you keep well Connie and don't be a stranger" Helen smiled and hugged her as they both stood. "Take care Helen" she smiled.

"It was your mum.." she said to Jacob as she reentered her office. "My mum?! Why-" "let's just say... josh didn't tell her why me and him split..." she shrugged and sat down. "Wow...so..." "yeah" Connie laughed. "I like being secretive" Jacob chuckled and Connie shook her head. "Go back to work, I'll see you later" she smiled.

She gasped as someone pulled her into the store cupboard. "Jacob" she giggled as he locked the door. "I can't wait till I'm home" he moaned and fiddled with his belt on his jeans. Connie smirked and undid her skirt, along with her blouse.

As the pair stood half dressed Jacob kissed her neck and lifted her up, pushing her against the wall of the store. Connie giggled as a few things fell from the shelves. He slid her underwear to the side and slide into her, Connie's back immediately arched and moaned rippled through her. "Shhh" Jacob moaned and moved fast into her. "God" she moaned and clawed at his back roughly.

"Fuck" she moaned as she reached her climax and Jacob flew his inside her. They both panted, Connie's head over his shoulder. "We best get back" she moaned and he slid out of her, feeling empty.

"Mm, I'll see you at home then?" He grinned as she did up her blouse again and fixed her hair. She grinned "yeah. You will" she giggled as he pulled her by the waist, close to him. Close enough to meet his lips, where he kissed her passionately, soft moans escaped Connie's mouth as his tongue forced its way into her mouth.

Connie pulled away for air and their foreheads met. "I love you" he grinned. "I love you too" she smiled and pecked his lips before strutting out of the store and the sound of her heels crashing onto the tiled floor made Jacob grin.

On the way home from work she called into a pharmacy and bought a pregnancy test... she was absolutely terrified.

She got home before Jacob and she knew it was the perfect opportunity to do the test... but she wasn't sure if she should do it with him? But what if she wanted pregnant... she'd never been in this situation before in her life. She was usually very careful, but she'd never been so active with a man in the past...

She took a deep breathe and turned over the test... reading the results her face said it all.
