Chapter 12

I got of the highway at 4:45 in the morning. Everyone was still asleep, I thought it was a peaceful night since Dad fell asleep only 1 hour and 15 minutes before, but at that time I was really restless. I needed to move around.

My gas was almost on empty when I finally seen a gas station, food court and washrooms. Best part we were only about 3 1/2 hours away from New Jersey and adding another good solid 2 hours till we get to Manfs apartment. So it was a fat 5 1/2 hours till we fully arrive to our destination.

I pulled up to the pump and turned the car off. I got out with my wallet, and started pumping my tank up.

I heard one of the doors open and then shut. Daniel came up to me rubbing his eyes, and said "Morning Madison" "Daniel, it's 5 in the morning, go back to sleep" I said chuckling. "I just need to go to the boys room. Could we snuggle after Zack is very uncomfortable" he said. "Yeah, sure we can do that" I said and Daniel walked off to go to the washroom.

I finished pumping the gas just as Daniel came up behind me, wrapped his arms around my waist and put his chin on my right shoulder. "Hey Daniel" I said putting the pump back and started paying for my gas(Which was only $50). "Maddy" Daniel said sweetly. "Yeah Daniel" I said putting my card in my wallet.

"Their on live right now" He said smiling. "Should we keep going" I asked quietly. "Totally" Daniel said. "Let's get some food, but as we walk away let's hold hands" I whisper-said. I felt him nod and we did so.

We walked off holding hands leaving everyone in the car jaw-dropped. We came into the food-court and we went to Tim Hortons and got bagels for everyone. We came back out food in my one hand and the other intertwined with Daniel's.

When we got to the back of the car, we let go and started laughing. We did a sideways high-five that went into a fist pump. We got into the car and everyone was staring between Daniel and I. "What was that all about" Dad asked. "We were trying to bug you guys out" I said giving Daniel a look. "That is my Bestie right their, pound it" Naya said and we fist pumped.

"You're so mean" Jack said and messed up my hair. I smiled and handed everyone their bagels. "You guys can eat, and then go back to sleep. It's 5:25 in the morning" I said.  "Okay, I'm really tired anyways" They all said in unison.
