Chapter 19

I shut the door to Mikey and Tyler's room and came into the living room where everyone was. They looked up at me as I sat next to Daniel and Corbyn. "You okay" Dad asked. "I'm fine, I just found out that a friend of mine are found" I said smiling. "Really, That's amazing Maddy" Daniel said.

"Yeah it is, anyways who wants to watch a movie?" I asked. They all nodded and I got up and put on Netflix. "So what do you want to watch" I asked. "I heard that 'The Space Between Us' is" Ember said but been intrupted with banging on the door.

"Maddy" we heard Lance say. My heart literally dropped and I started to quietly cry. Daniel looked over at me and pulled me close to him. "Hey, it's okay, we won't let him get you" Daniel said.

He sounded passionate as he said that, and I felt greatful for that, but it was only then I knew that I've put their lives in complete danger. My crying grew a little louder as Lance kept banging on the door.

"I just put everyone in danger" I cried out. They all looked at me confused and Corbyn said, "Maddy, We knew something like this would happen, but we didn't care, all that matters is that you made us happier ever since we first meet at the orphanage door."

I smiled, wiped my tears away and just like that I wasn't crying anymore. "I never knew you felt that way Corbyn" I said smiling. Corbyn started to blush as Zach(Who was beside him) started joking around with him.

"Open up" Lance said and continued banging on the door. I got up and walked over to the door and unlocked it. "Maddy...." Dad said but been inturpted by Jake calmly say "Just watch."

I opened it and seen Lance, I quickly swung a upper cut, and then side kicked him in the stomach. Lance staggered and fell down the stairs. I smiled aimlessly and came out of the house.

"Hey Maddy" I heard a 2 male voices say from both sides of me. "Chris, Adin nice of you to drop by"I said looking between the two. They came forwards and I sped down the stairs to the parking lot.

"Well, well, well, look who it is, its Mini Manfs" a male said from behind. I turned to see Darry, Sodapop, Ponyboy. "No fuckn' way, Ponyboy, Soda, Darry" I said and ran up to Ponyboy and we hugged, Soda and Darry joined in.
