Chapter 23

We looked at each other and I said, "We did good boys, let's get out of here and get ready for that rumble it's in 3 hours" I said. They nodded and we came into the living room and seen Steve and Two-Bit sitting on the couch.

"Hey, well if it isn't Baby Face" Steve said getting up. "I told you I don't like that name Steve" I whined cutely. "Wellll, fine I'll call you Mini Manfs" He said. "Thank you, now get ready for the rumble, it's in 3 hours" I said.

We gave each other a smile and quickly came over to the table. Pony sat across me while Darry and Two-bit sat across from each other. I got my left arm on the table, smiled and said, "You're going down Ponyboy!"

"We'll see about that" Pony said in response as he brought his right hand on the table and we gripped each others hands. If you haven't guess it right, we were arm wrestling. "You guys know the rules, It's the same for Mini Manfs as it is for any guy. 1....2....3....GO" Soda said.

Both Pony and I were very strong but everyone knew that when it came to arm wrestling, I was the champion.

I gave Pony a wicked but lovable smile as I used little force that put his arm down. "What did I say Pony, you are going down" I said. "I'm not bothering fighting with you, I'm stressed out as it is about tonight" Pony said.

I sat back in my chair and let out a long sigh. "Look Maddy..." He said but I cut him off with saying "It's fine Pony, I for one am stressed out about tonight it would be not me if I wasn't" I said reassuringly.

He gave me a smile as my phone rang,I grabbed it out of my back pocket and seen Zach's ID come up. "Give me a minute" I said and walking out of the room and accepting the call. "Hey Zach" I said.

"It's me Lance, I have everyone held hostage, if you don't come over here and give yourself to me, they all will be beaten to almost death" He said evily. "Don't you dare fuckn' touch anyone their, this entire situation evolve's around us not them" I said strongly with a little bit of pleading that he couldn't even hear in my voice.

"You have exactly 48 hours to be here or we will start beating them up. We are soooo starting with either Mikey and Tyler" He said and hung up. I hung up and put my hand over my mouth.

I can't let Lance hurt anyone else, I have to stop him once and for all I thought to myself. "Even though he's my father" I said to myself and started to cry
