Chapter 15

We walked up the stairs to my cousins apartment. When we got to the door, I said "Just be yourselves okay." They all nodded as I opened the door.

Mikey, Jake, Gavin, and Ashley were sitting on the couches in the living room. Naya closed the door that made them look over. "Maddy" Mikey said excitedly as he ran over to me and hugged me.

"Hey Mikey, how's my two favourite cousins doing" I asked. "We are fantastic, what brings you to New Jersey" He asked as we let go he looked at the guys. He looked back at me surprised as I said "Yeah I got adopted, but thats not the reason I've came here" I said. "Well before getting into that tell me their names, so we aren't complete strangers" Mikey said as we came over to the couches.

"My girlfriends Naya and Ember, Dad or Jonah to you guys, Zack, Jack, Corbyn and Daniel" I said pointing at each one. "Hey, I'm Mikey, Mikey Manfre" He said. "I'm going to go get Tyler, then we can talk seriousness" I said as I walked down the hall and into Mikey and Tyler's room.

He looks up and said "Oh my god, Maddy!" He got up and ran up to me and we hugged. "Tyler my cus, come out to the couches I need to talk to you guys about something" I said.

He nodded and wrapped his arm around my neck and we walked out to everyone talking about random stuff.

"Hey, theirs the two troublemakers" Jake said smiling. I sat down next Dad and Corbyn, While Tyler for some strange reason sat on my lap.

"So guys, I or we need your guys help" I said. "With what, Mini Manfs" Gavin said. "Mini Manfs?" Jack asked looking at me. I chuckled and said, "That's my nickname the boys gave me because I look like Mikey, eveb though we're cousins" I said. "Now that you say that, you two do look a lot alike" Dad said. "Anyways, You guys know about Lance and um..... he is trying to take me again" I said.

They heard regret in my voice like I put their lives in danger. Everyone was in silence and then you could here Mikey say strongly "What do you want us to do?"
