All silver blooded children were taught three things at the age of seven; Know your place, Wear your colors with pride, and do not fall in love with a red. The easiest one for me was knowing my place. But I couldn't wear my colors with pride, knowing that my colors had caused the deaths of innocent Reds. Falling in love with a red should have been something I avoided but it was hard not to. When I first met him I just knew. I planned to run away with him after queentrials had ended. If Mare hadn't fallen into the area, I would have lifted the Kings box and nearly killing him, eliminating my chances of winning the Crowned princes hand in marriage. I have regretted that day, Kilorn hadn't spoken a word to me since because of what I did to his friend.

"Could we host another Ball?" I asked Cal, he looked up from his book and stared blankly at me.

"Why?"                                                                                                                                                                                        "We could invited the Reds to join, I mean since we are planning to abolish the laws against Reds to make them as equal and important to a silver. We should at least try to play out what it would look like. Also you want to see Mare again, I can see it in your eyes. You feel the same way I do when I'm without Elane, or Kilorn." I said taking the open book from his warm hands.

"Fine!" He answered back with a growl, snatching the book back from my hands.

I smiled, and hurried back to my bed chambers. Entering to find mare sitting cross legged on my bed, staring at me coldly.

"This is all your fault, you silver slut!" She said quickly, before I realized it her olive hands were around my neck.

             And then, Darkness....
