A Queen's Betrayal[RED QUEEN FANFIC]

Chapter Ten| No more Happy endings

       I betrayed him, he blames me. He loves her, we're back where we started when he first was forced to propose to me. He loves her again. He visits her down in the dungeon  he kisses her, hugs her, tells her everything will be fine. Then he comes back up here and yells at me, slaps me, sometimes I wish that If I had just stayed silent and did what I was told everything would be fine. Because after all, if I hadn't tried to kill her at queenstrials she wouldn't have discovered that she could control lightning. Everything, is my fault. I am to blame, I am at fault. 

    He slept with her too once, I watched it on camera, I relived a sentinel guard and watched him touch her and she touched him back he kissed her neck and she would smile up at the camera and she would pretend to enjoy his touch. I knew what the little vixen was doing. She was going to fake a damn pregnancy to get him to marry her and make her queen. 

        Oh god, what's happening to me, I'm reacting  the same way I did when I found out about their kiss!

    I got up and left after he had left her and I asked him about it. 

"Was it all some kind of game to you." I screamed at him pushing him against a wall. He looked shocked, he didn't even look surprised. "What, what is a game Lady Samos." He said, his words were cold towards me.

  "You, telling me that you loved me, only to crawl back to hurt like a wounded dog!"  I said through tears, he started to relax, he knew where I was going with this, "She is using you, and your to blind to see it. I know what you two do without watching but want to know something Your highness-" I paused wiping away my tears, "I don't care anymore, if you want her and her trickery then be my guest."

   I began to walk away, I refused to look back, even when he called for me. I began to pack the things I had brought with me and I waited outside for my escort.

     "Evie, please don't do this. I understand your a little jealous, and your obviously not thinking in your right mind." He said touching my shoulder, I turned around and I kissed him, my lips hitting his with pure electricity, there was a spark and I wasn't imagining it. 

     "If you truly love something, you have to let it go. Someone really wise told me that once." I said, he said nothing he didn't move, his amber and bronze colored eyes glistened. It was almost like a spell had been broken and his heart was freed in that moment but I left either way. He chose her. 

A/N: The Title is referencing Elara, Mare, and Evangeline. as "The Queen's betrayal" is referencing every nortan 'queen' who betrayed a king, their country, or the crown.
