The last few days had been a train wreck, at least where Jenna was concerned. It didn't matter what she did or where she went, things just weren't working out the way she wanted. If it wasn't a problem at work, then it was one issue or another at the house. She had tried her best to keep to herself, coming and going without much conversation. When Zac found her in the kitchen, it was a bit of a surprise to find her in the house and out of her room. Placing his phone on the counter, Zac hoisted himself up onto the breakfast nook watching as Jenna sang and danced around. Loudly she belted out the song on the radio, Zac couldn't help but laugh at the antics.

"Uh, Jenna?" Zac laughed, watching as she continued to dance around the kitchen belting out the chorus of Keep on Rocking Me Baby. He really hated to interrupt her, it was only fair she knew she had an audience.

"Uh hey, Zac!" Jenna stopped dancing to the Steve Miller Band classic, turning the radio down. Blushing so slightly she pulled a beer from the fridge and handed it to Zac. Tucking a bit of her short hair behind ear, Jenna picked up her own bottle and placed it to her lips.

"Nice dance moves." Zac commented with a smirk. The moves he had witnessed Jenna bust out were certainly of acquired skill he was sure.

"Why thank you." Jenna beamed with laughter. "I really couldn't help myself. It's the song, it is one of Luke's favourites and we used to dance around the house like fools when we'd hear it."

Making the confession to Zac had sort of just slid out, Jenna smiled timidly before placing her beer bottle back to her lips. Luke, a topic Zac and Jenna rarely discussed in this manner. Nodding in understanding, Zac popped the top on his beer and took a sip.

"Do you ever miss being with Luke?" Zac asked, his eyes fixed on the brown bottle in his hands.

Asking his question and not apologizing, like almost everybody else did, earned Zac a few points with Jenna. Sliding onto a stool next to where Zac sat perched on the counter top, she took a drink of her beer. Rolling it around in her mind, Jenna opened her mouth and things just started to pour out.

"I was so in love with Luke, but it got serious, fast. Sure we'd been together four years, but it got really serious in the last year. I got scared. He started talking about being married and babies, I can't have babies! I'd be the worst parent in the world." Jenna babbled. "I had a goldfish once."

"A goldfish?" Zac inquired, not entirely sure he wanted to know where this was going.

"Yep, I had him for three whole days! I accidentally set him on the window sill, he boiled to death." Jenna confessed with a frown. "The point is what if I had kids and forgot them like I did Mr. Magoo? A child's death is not as easily passable by law as a goldfish."

Jenna was fantastic with kids, they loved her and she loved them, but Jenna having children of her own was a tad worrisome. She was a great person, Zac felt her slightly flighty personality would cause more havoc than anything if Jenna were a parent. Of course, people had said that about Zac and he'd like to think he was a fairly awesome parent.

"Luke wants a family, he is going to be a great dad and he needs somebody who is going to be a good mom. I can't do that. Sometimes people grow apart, I suppose. It happens and you just need to keep moving forward." Jenna insisted with a shrug.

"I take it you're okay with things then?" Zac asked feeling unclear of where Jenna was going with this rant.

"I don't love Luke anymore, I mean when he asked me to marry him I tried to think about it, really I tried, like a whole forty five minute try!" she continued, Zac chuckled, forty five minutes was a life time commitment for Jenna.
