They say your body is a temple.
So why can't we decorate our temples how we want?
Not everyone's temple is the same.
These are our homes,
And it's sad to know that not everyone is comfortable in their homes.

You're supposed to feel safe in a temple.
Lately, I think it's been falling apart,
And I'm just stuck inside.
I'm not comfortable here.
I feel like I've been placed in the wrong body, the wrong home.

No that's not right.
This is a house full of dark thoughts
And a house isn't always a home.

They say that home is where the heart is,
But my heart's been ripped apart so many times,
And I'm not sure if I know what home feels like.
Everything's so temporary,
And I can't even tell you if my house is home to the crumbling soul inside.

A house isn't always a home
And no I'm not comfortable within my temple.
But this temple is where I'll reside,
Until I finally find my home.
