Part 2

I woke up the next morning and got ready for school. Mum was still not home. Who knows where she went. I quickly put Nathan and Paddy on the bus and I ran out to my car to get Liz and I to the high school.
"Wait up!" I saw tom running towards the car with Harry and Sam.
"Do you mind if we can get a ride?" Sam asked.
"Hop in the back" I said sighing. They usually get a ride from Tom..
He sat in the front seat and looked at me.
"Thank you, my car won't start and we're going to be late" Tom said.
I laughed a bit and started to drive away.
I looked in the mirror to see Sam and Liz kanoodling with each other.
"Guys, there are other people in this car" I said signaling it towards them.
I was uncomfortable at the thought of my sister having a happy relationship while the person I've liked since 2nd grade is sitting next to me, and he's taken.
We drive up to the school and piled out of the car.
"Thank you Cassie" tom said as he gave me a hug.
He turned around and walked towards Jenna and put his arm around her.
Gosh how much that bothers me. I tried to leave it alone and keep my mind open for new people. School just started last week and I'm in my senior year. We have senior prom this year as well and I want to go for once.
The bell rang and I ran to my first period class, which was chemistry.
I sat next to Tom because of our last names, Holland and Hill.
"Hey cas" he said as I sat down.
I smiled,
"What's up"
"I um I was wondering if you mind watching Tessa tonight. I'm going out with Jenna and I don't trust Harry and Sam since they're usually not home. And my parents are going out for their anniversary" he asked.
"Yeah sure that's fine." I said looking down. He was going out with Jenna🙄
"Thanks so much. Is 4:30 okay?"
"Anytime is okay with me, you know I'm home 24/7" I said cracking a smile.
He nodded his head and the class started.
I couldn't stop thinking about him the whole time. I couldn't stop thinking about what life would be like if I had just told him I liked him a while ago. I'm such an idiot.
*4 hours later*
I got Nathan and Paddy off the bus and walked them back to our house. Paddy usually is here anyways and can just walk next door to go home whenever he wants to.
I walk inside and put my car keys down on the counter.
"Cassie can we have sandwiches pleaseeeee" Nathan asked.
I sighed, "of course what do you want love"
They both talked for a bit deciding on what to eat.
"Grilled cheese?" Paddy asked.
I laughed and nodded my head. They were so adorable and I'm so lucky to have my little brother and Paddy was like my second little brother.
As I was making them sandwiches I heard a loud band from upstairs. I quickly ran up the stairs to see what was going on.
I walk into Liz's room...
"LIZ OH MY GOD!" I screamed as I closed the door shut.
