Part 12

I woke up to a weird smell. Not a bad smell. It actually was pretty good. I've just never smelled it before.... I slowly opened my eyes to see that someone had been on the other side of the bed. I got up and rubbed my forehead and slumped into the bathroom. I splashed some cold water on my face and put my hair up in a messy bun. I ran down the stairs and into the kitchen to see Tom making breakfast. Harry Sam Liz Paddy and Nathan were all sitting at the table.
"It's about time you got up!" Nathan said giggling.
"What time is it?" I yawned...
"It's noon" Harry said laughing
"Oh shit. Why are you all eating so late then?" I asked as I rubbed my face and sat down.
"We all kind of woke up late and decided to just wait for you" Liz said looking down at her phone.
I nodded my head and gave her a weak smile. I don't know if tom knew that I was present so I got up and walked over to him.
He turned around startled. When his eyes met mine his expression suddenly changed into the happiest person I've ever seen.
"Goodmorning darling" he said giving me a hug.
"Go sit down breakfast will be ready soon" he said and I turned away. I kinda wanted him to kiss me, but maybe he didn't want to make anything official yet, at least in front of our families.
"So Cass how are you doing, you know after yesterday" Harry asked.
"To come to think of it I actually forgot all about that. But I'm okay. I just need some time to think all this through" I said, with the thoughts quickly coming back to my head.
Every single one of them had made some type of conversation with me except Liz.
I noticed Sam nudged her after he was done talking to me about stuff.
She looked up and we made eye contact.
"What is going on with you two, you need to stop and just make up" Sam said looking back and fourth  at both of us. I put my head down and Tom came over with pancakes eggs waffles and French toast.
"Wow tom who knew you could cook!" I said excitedly grabbing one of everything. He sat down next to me and everyone got their food.
"What did you say before Sam? What about Liz and Cassie?" Tom asked.
Sam looked at the both of us again.
Liz picked her head up,
"I'm sorry Cas. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings by calling you out on not having a boyfriend and being a virgin and all. I didn't mean it I was just mad at you at the time and it just came out" she said as tears started to fill her eyes. I quickly stood up and ran over to her giving her a hug.
"I accept your apology, you know I was just trying to protect you from anything bad happening." I said and I looked over at Sam.
He nodded his head in agreement.
"Can someone tell me what's going on!!" Tom said trying to ask again.
I sat back down and looked at Nathan and Paddy who had finished their food and ran into the playroom.
"Well do you want to tell him" I said laughing a bit.
Her face got all red and so did sams. They stayed silent until Harry finally blurted out,
"They're hooking up and Cas and I walked in on them. Two different times." And Harry started to uncontrollably laugh.
Tom gave me such a weirded out kind of look and started to laugh along.
I then stopped and said,
"But I was pissed at them so I yelled at her and then she said some not nice things to me" I said breaking the laughter.
"What, what did she say?" Tom asked concerned.
"Just about how she's never had a boyfriend and is a virgin. But it's okay. She's 18 and doesn't need that she has her whole life ahead of her" Liz said and smiled at me.
I looked over at Tom and he smiled a bit looking at the floor.
Then he looked back at me with a smirk.
All three of their expressions were so confused at the sight of Toms face.
"Not anymore" Tom whispered to me.
"What?" Harry asked.
"Did you just say not anymore?"
We both looked at them and my heart started to race.
Oh shit..
"NOOOO WAYYYYY!!!!!!" Sam said as Harry and him stood up jumping up and down.
"I KNEW IT I CALLED IT!!!" Harry screamed in Sams face as they started to laugh.
"What???" I asked all nervous.
They sat back down.
"Do you know how long all of us have been waiting for you guys to finally be with each other!!!" Liz screamed.
I was kind of happy but at the same time I wish I knew that they saw this coming.
I wish that it had happened earlier.
I cleared my throat,
"H-how long though" I asked putting my head down.
"Oh gosh like years and years!!" Sam said.
I felt my stomach start to tighten. I gave them a really weak smile and mumbled,
"I just really wish that I had known as long as they did. I just wish this didn't happen so late in our lives. We have the rest of the school year and who knows where we will go and if we will see each other or even be together"
I started to cry a bit and tom hugged me.
"I wish I had done something sooner. That's my biggest regret in my life. But let's not think about the future and just enjoy the last year of school that we have together." He said and planted a kiss on my forehead.
He tilted my chin up and said,
"I love you so much Cassidy"
The 3 goons went wild but I didn't pay any attention to them. All I could see and hear and feel and acknowledge was the person I love right in front of my eyes
