How you were formed from the roots, grew from soil
I told you I wanted you
I think you took it to lightly
I wanted to be able to devour you the same way I would love you
Feed you, eat you
Baby, teach my hands how to water you gently
I always wanna ask you, who hurt you
But I don't ever think I could begin to understand why
Comprehend how
Who could break such a soul
Sugar plum I don't think you been told enough
But, your a sunflower
Gorgeous brown inside
Each petal, made with a story to tell
Show me
Show me the most damaged parts of your soul, and i'll show you how it still shines like gold
Show me what you've hidden from the world
Even the way you hide behind that little curl
Don't think I told you, but I'm digging you
From your sense of humor, to your kind heart
Girl your my own personal super star
Sunflower
Let me paint you, paint you a picture of you in my eyes
Than finally I think you'll realize the way I'm mesmized
You suck me in, and I drown every time
Swimming in your ocean
Your divine
Like a glass of red wine
Sweet intertwine
I can't help but crave a sip at night
Bonded together by our obsession
Plant with me, grow with me
Embark on this journey with me
Remember that hike
Beautiful waterfall
Baby, let's go fishing
A catch
Yeah, a catch is what you are
All theses adjectives, all theses descriptions
Still can't amount to the correct words to say to you
So I guess I'll stick with one
Sunflower
Gorgeous brown inside
Each petal, with a story to tell
