The Old Beginning

I once heard that life is what you make it

Well I tried to make it the best but only the worst came

I had dreams about dreams

But only nightmares about nightmares came true

I knew a day couldn't be repeated

But I knew a new day could be restarted

I was told life is like a book

You can look back at pages or remember the page but you can't change what happen in it

However every new page was a new beginning

So

A fresh start is brewing

And I'm right here to write it
