Maya's Story Part 2

She watched Emily. The baby's crying had stopped so the house was practically empty. Emily looked so tired and defeated. Maya never wanted to hurt her. She loved her so. But knowing how much she adored Alison, it drove her crazy.
"So this whole time... you were with Noel Kahn?"
Maya smiled. She knew Emily had questions for her and she was willing to answer them. She wished that she had been more open about what was going on with Lyndon. Wished she had told Emily just how much she loved getting high. Wished she had been a better girlfriend. Maybe things would be different.
"No. Like you should know, Noel wasn't the most trustworthy."
"Flashback"
Maya and Noel arrived back at his cabin, just as the party was getting started. The party was more like a college orgy with lots of drugs and alcohol. Noel walked through the cabin, speaking with people as he made his way to the back. He led Maya to a room.
"You can put your things in here. This is where you'll be staying."
She looked around the room and smiled. It was cozy and clean, not too big and not too small. It was perfect. She turned and smiled at Noel.
"Thank you."
He winked at her.
"The pleasure's all mine. All I ask is that if that hot girlfriend of yours comes over, you let me watch."
She laughed before hitting at him. He dodged her hit before closing the door.
Maya took her laptop out of her bag and set it up the the desk. She turned on her webcam and decided to go live on her website. She titled it "Crushing on my love." It was mostly about her new found love which she couldn't stop gushing over and how much Emily meant to her. As she looked at the comments, she noticed a message from a guest.

^GUEST^ r u wit dat bitch?
^GUEST^ do u rlly think she's better than me?
^GUEST^ I h8 u!
^GUEST^ I didn't mean that
She knew it was him. How did he find her new website? She sighed, knowing that she had no one to blame for this but herself. She should have never kissed him and gotten his hopes up. Her heart would now forever belong to Emily and she knew it was wrong to string him along. She just thought that she would never be able to see Emily again.
Pam Fields hated her and no matter how much Emily told her it didn't matter, she knew how much the girl valued her parent's decision. Wayne Fields was super cool but her mom would never let them be together.
She shut down her computer and decided to head out to the party and get her smoke on. Whe. She walked into the living room, she couldn't help but laugh at how kinky everyone was being. She knew that she would never bring Emily here. Noel walked up to her.
"I got what you want."
He led her to an area where people were passing a blunt around. He introduced her when a girl narrowed her eyes at her.
"Hey! Don't you date that fine ass swimmer from Rosewood High?"
"Yeah. That's me."
"Sheesh! You're a lucky girl."
Maya smiled at her, thinking of her sweet and sexy girlfriend.
"Yes. I am."
She sat down and they passed her the blunt. She took two puffs and felt the high she loved so much taking over her. She pulled out her phone and wanted to text Emily badly, but decided against it. A few puffs later, she laid her head back and enjoyed the trip.
A few hours later, she stumbled into the kitchen to fix her a plate of food whe. Someone grabbed her arm and yanked her. She looked up with a curious smile when she say the crazed look on Lyndon's face. Her smile dropped and a scared look crossed her face. Her eyes darted around before she parted her mouth.
"Say a word bitch and you'll regret it."
He pulled her outside and she followed behind, feeling dread.
"What the fuck are you doing here Maya?"
"Why are you here Lyndon?"
"I'm here for you Maya. I love you."
"I've told you-"
"Yeah you love Emily. But what can she do for you that I cant? I can be all you need!"
"Stop! Just stop!"
When she looked at him, rage went through him and he slapped her hard, knocking her to the ground.
"Hey!"
Noel walked up and helped Maya up, pushing her behind him.
"Who the fuck are you?!"
"A friend of Maya's. Who are you?"
"Her boyfriend."
Noel laughed.
"Whoa. I wasn't aware that that was even a possibility. I may have a chance after all."
"The fuck-"
Lyndon walked up on Noel but three dudes walked up behind Noel, staring Lyndon down.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you boyfriend."
Lyndon stared Maya down before backing up.
"This isn't over. I promise you that."
He glared at Noel before turning around and walking back into the woods. Noel grinning at Maya.
"Damn Maya. Let me find out."
She shook her head, still visibly shaken, watching the direction that Lyndon walked off to. She decided to go back to the room and go to sleep. She looked the door and curled up in the bed, wishing that Emily was with her. She stared at their picture on the screensaver of her phone before drifting off to sleep.
