"Ali..."

"Oh my God! Baby! I'm so sorry!"

"For what Ali?"

"For putting you out! For doubting you! I love you"

"What are you talking about Alison?"

"The Paige thing, I-"

"Alison."

"Paige, what are you-"

"Em, babe, come on. We're going to be late."

"I'll be right there. It was nice seeing you Ali. Come on Lily! Come on Grace!"

"Em! Wait! Where are you taking the girls?"

"We're following mommy!"

"NO! I'M THEIR MOTHER! EMILY."

"ALI!"

She gasped before being shaken out of her sleep by Spencer. Alison stared at her before looking around and breaking out in tears. Aria walked up with a glass of water.

"Alison, are you okay?"

"No Aria, I'm not. I won't be until I get them back."

"What kind of dream was that? What happened?"

"I- it-ugh!"

Aria handed Ali the glass of water.

"Here Ali, drink this."

Alison took a big gulp of the water, hoping it will calm her down. Hanna walked over to them, putting her phone in her pocket.

"Look, I know we were trying to keep this between us but Em could be in serious danger Ali. We need help."

Ali sighed, knowing that she was right. Spencer turned toward her.

"Who did you call?"

"Caleb. He can at least try to track down Em's phone."

Spencer turned back towards Alison.

"I think you should let me call Toby."

Alison shook her head wildly.

"No, Spence. No police."

"But Emily is like his best friend and I'm sure he'd want to know what's going on."

"Along with Toby comes Tanner. And I'd hate to have to explain to her how a dead girl kidnapped by wife and kids."

"Gosh, this is so freaking crazy! Like, Maya's been gone for years and the moment you kick Em out, here she comes, like a thief in the night."

"She's been hanging around here for a while."

That caught the attention of the girls. They all looked at each other before turning their heads back to Ali.

"Ali. What do you mean by that? How long has Maya been around?"

"She never left."

*Flashback*

Alison had just pulled Emily from the barn. She was glad that she decided to come back to town just to see Emily because if she hadn't, God. She didn't want to think about the possibility of what could have happened to her mermaid. She'd stayed with Emily for as long as she could. When she heard rustling in the trees, she knew the girls would come for Em. So laid her head gently back on the ground and dashed into the woods.

As she walked, she heard noise coming from the other direction. She whipped her head around, prepared to fight off the attack when she saw a brown skin girl with long hair walk toward her. As she got a better view of her face, she saw that it was Maya. Emily's ex-girlfriend.
