Alison felt a chill up her spine, followed my a warm sensation near her spine. She moaned and arched her back when she heard a familiar giggle. She loved everything about Emily's laughter.
"Baby..."
"Mmmm?"
"You're here..."
"Of course. Where else would I be?"
"I love you so much Em! I'm sorry baby. I-"
She stopped when she felt Emily lay a kiss on her shoulder.
"Ali, stop. Come here."
She quickly turned around and got on her knees, crawling over to Em. Emily grabbed her waist and pulled her so that she was nestled in her lap, with her arms around Ali's waist. She brought their foreheads together and looked into Ali's eyes.
"I love you Alison."
Ali touched her hand to Em's cheek and breathed in the smell of her wife's minty and sweet breath.
"Em- I-I never want to be without you and the girls again."
Emily smiled.
"You never have to. We'll always be here."
She felt Em lay a hand across her heart and she smiled. But the touch began to fade. She looked up and a white blinding light appeared behind Emily's head. Em smiled at her before she began to get up.
"Em, where are you going?"
"Take care Ali. I'll love you always."
She watched as Lily and Grace wobbled beside Em. She took their hands and they disappeared into the light. Ali tried to get up and follow them but the light disappeared and she suddenly felt cold and alone. She began to cry hysterically and screaming.
"ALI!!!?"
Alison woke up and realized that she was in the back seat of the car, wrapped in Aria's arms. Spencer turned around in the front seat.
"Gosh Ali, are you okay?"
Aria was looking at her with a concerned expression on her face.
Ali turned in her arms, still silently crying.
"Ali, what happened?"
"I dreamed that they left me."
"Who Ali?"
"Em and the girls."
Aria pulled Ali closer and kissed her forehead.
"We're going to find them Ali."
"Guys, we're here."
Hanna pulled into the driveway of the house. It was huge and looked abandoned. Mona, Caleb and Toby came up to the car.
"This is where CeCe stayed when she wasn't in Rosewood."
"It doesn't look like anyone is here."
"She's definitely gone. I see the tire tracks. But there may be clues inside of where she's headed."
They get out of the car and slowly approach the house.
"Here. The door is open."
They follow behind Spencer. When they step inside, it's completely dark and smells like gas.
"Watch you step. It could be a trap. They walked a little closer and Hanna's foot slipped.
"What the-"
The hand that broke her fall is wet. She brings it up to her face to look at it while Spencer shines her cell phone light at it. They gasp when they see the red substance on her hand. Ali's scream and her strangled cry draws their attention.
"What is it Ali?"
'These- th-these were the out-outfits the girls were wearing when I dropped them off to daycare."
She dropped to her knees and Aria was right by her side. Mona looked at Hanna and Caleb. Just as she was going to speak, Spencer pushed at the door where Emily was being kept.
"Guys, look at this."
They all ventured into the room and looked around. The room was slightly bare except for a table, sofa, and a chair. There was a gleam that caught their attention. Alison gasped and picked it up. The strangled noise in the back of her throats touched their souls.
"What is that?"
Hanna looked at Mona and back to the glittering orb in Alison's fingers.
"Em's wedding ring."
Just then, a cracklings noise caught their attention. It sounded as if sparks were sounding off outside the window.
"Hey, we've got to get out of here! NOW!"
Caleb grabbed Hanna's hand and they followed behind him. Ali was feeling week so Aria had one side while Spencer was on her other. The moment they began backing up out of the driveway, the house erupted in flames.
Hanna, who was on the phone with Caleb, whimpered.
"Hanna?"
"Yeah Caleb?"
"Are you all okay?"
"We're fine. What happened?"
Mona, who was listening on speaker phone and tapping away at her phone, answered.
"It seems Maya is a little bit smarter than we thought. The house was rigged."
"Great! So now we have nothing?!"
"Chill Spencer. I said she was smarter than we thought. Not the smartest."
Hanna spoke up.
"So you have something?"
"She used her phone to set everything up. If done right, I can hack into it."
Mona stopped typing.
"Got it. Ladies and gentlemen, we're going to New York."
