"Josh lost a lot of blood he because something cut through a very special artery. We fixed that but he doesn't have enough of blood in him to keep him alive for more than one week. He needs a blood transfusion but it takes a while to find someone that is a perfect match for the man. I found his phone maybe a relative will have the perfect match so why don't you try dialing someone." He smiled but didn't have emotion. "Thank you so much" I quickly took the phone and dialed everyone in his contacts. His mother and brother Jordan live in Columbus and they decided they'll risk anything to save Josh.
They will have to go through all of this because of me fuck! The next day the doctor allowed me to be in the room with Josh so I sat on his bed and kissed his forehead. "T-ty" He probably felt or saw me kiss him, I blushed like crazy but covered my face with my sleeves. "I'm sorry" I looked at him straight in the eyes "for what?" he replied. "For kissing your forehead" I felt a tear roll down my salty cheeks. "It's okay it's not like it's my mouth!"Josh giggled. "I guess" I murmured. "Josh don't talk or move you need to gain strength, I need you to be healthy and alive." He nodded. "Try to get some rest. I'll tell the doctors you woke up." I started walking out the door then I suddenly heard "please don't, not yet." I turned to face him. "Please it's for your own good, I want you to be healthy." He looked at me then nodded. A doctor entered Josh's room and allowed me to stay there while they talked. He said he was surprised Josh woke up because they would have never imagined that but Josh is a fighter. I entered the room and Josh was laying down like before but then the doctor wanted to take tests on Josh. "Ty can you hold my hand needles scare me." I got worried because I freak out if I see a needle. "Yes but I'm going to look away, ok?" He nodded then I extended my hand and grabbed his. It felt like the first time he shook my hand except this time it felt better. All the tests were done so I turned around and I saw that Josh's eyes were watering. "Aw Josh don't cry it's over" I felt my eyes water to because it was my fault he had to be here. "Can you explain why you pushed me anyway?" I sighed then explained to Josh about my anxiety and started to feel bad. "I'm sorry Ty, it's not your fault." I looked at him in the eyes and said "yes it is I pushed you, me!" He looked away and a tear slid down his cheek. "I'm so sorry Josh." I wiped the tear off his cheek then grabbed his hand and squeezed it. "Go to sleep Josh if you need anything I'll be here, ok" he nodded then quickly drifted to sleep. One hour later the room door slammed open and a women rushed in with tears streaming down her face. She screamed Josh's name repeatedly which made the sleeping boy wake up. "My baby boy what's wrong what happened!" She held her arms out than caressed Josh's face. "Mom mom I'm fine." she pulled him into a hug making sure she didn't touch the tubes connected to Josh. Josh's mom walked to the waiting room to leave Josh alone for a bit. "Darling what happened?" She said grabbing both of my hands. "It's all my fault I'm so sorry mrs. Dun" she looked down then said "no don't say that, please tell me what happened." I told her everything that had happened but choked up half of the time, I told her why I pushed him to. "I don't blame you if you hate me right now, I almost killed Josh and I will never forgive myself for that" I wiped tears from my cheeks that looked at his mother. "Honey I don't hate you I know you didn't mean it, it's ok. Thank you for taking care of Josh." I got a bit angry because I almost killed Josh and it's like no one cares! Of course they cared that Josh almost died but why aren't they mad at me in the reason why Josh is here, in pain. "Tyler can I ask you a question?" His mom held my hands again. "What is it?" She looked at me then giggled. "Are you and Josh dating, I thought he was straight I never knew" she looked at me then all of the sudden her face turned serious. "No me and Josh are just friends" but did I really want to be just friends? His mother said he was straight so I knew he was. "Oh ok, you better not be lying!" She said jokingly. " I would never lie about something like that mrs.Dun" she looked at me then smiled "you can call me Laura" I nodded. A nurse came in asking for her to come with her to do some blood work. I went back with Josh once she left. He was sound asleep, I wanted to just lay my lips on his small but plump lips and it took everything in me not to do it. I sat on the chair next to him then soon fell asleep. Soon Jordan came in the room crying and running over to Josh. Josh was still sleeping because Jordan was silent unlike his mother. "You must be Tyler right? Josh's boyfriend" he said still weeping on Josh's chest. "Yes I'm Tyler and we're just friends.". "Oh ok" he grinned then went back onto Josh's chest, soon he got called to do some blood work to. I fell back to sleep again next to Josh, holding his hand as if I never left. "Mom I can give Josh blood it matched!" Jordan said loudly which woke me up. Laura and Jordan hugged each other and cried. "What's wrong?" Josh said in a sleepy voice. "You're brother will donate blood to you, now get some rest Joshie" Laura said rubbing her small thumb against Josh's glistening face. "Mom I slept almost all day long." Josh pouted then turned to look at me. "Tyler you're still here!" Josh said loudly. "No I think I'm a ghost." I laughed at my own joke oops. "Ty you're not a ghost silly" Josh giggled. "Josh you are getting your blood transfusion tomorrow, aren't you excited?!" Laura grabbed Josh's muscular arms. "I'm scared, Ty can you hold my hand when it happens?" his eyes started to water, I noticed while on medications he's been really emotional making me just as sad. "Of course Josh" I smile then look down, I felt really bad for Josh so I cried as silently as I could. Laura came behind me and hugged my shoulders "oh no honey please don't cry he's going to get better". "TyTy I don't like seeing you cry." Josh lifted my chin up to look at my face so I closed my eyes then sniffled. "I'm sorry Josh." I hugged him then cried on his chest. I woke up the next morning in my chair no longer on Josh. I looked at the small table and saw a note that said "hey it's Laura and I know you're reading this Tyler because obviously Josh can't get it, anyway I just wanted to let you know that the transfusion is at 3:00 pm and me and Jordan just went to get some food for all of us." I looked at the note then tucked it in my pocket. Josh was still sound asleep he looked more pale then yesterday and less healthy. I really hope the transfusion goes well. Laura and Jorden came in the room with a Taco Bell bag. "Tyler you're awake!" Laura said. "Yup" I grinned, my stomach rumbled as soon as I smelt the food, I hadn't eating since yesterday morning. They couldn't hear it from all the noise of the paper bag. "Here Tyler we brought you a breakfast burrito." I took the burrito in my hands and inhaled the wonderful smell. "Thank you" Laura nodded then went back to eating her burrito. "I snook in some chalupas for Josh" Jordan said giggling. I giggled back then wondered when Josh will wake up. I heard groaning from Josh's bed and I frantically rushed over to him. "You okay Josh?". "My leg hurts, can you pass me a pain killer?" I quickly grabbed the pill then passed him my water. "Thanks" Josh grabbed everything from my hands then quickly took the pill. "I brought you food want to eat?" Jordan said. Josh nodded them Jordan passed him his chalupas and water. As soon as we all finished eating we talked about Josh's childhood. After one hour of chit chatting a doctor came in with the blood and all the equipment.
