I opened my eyes, still yelling except I was in Josh's room with him right next to me. It looked exactly like when we fell asleep. He sprang right up and put his arm around my shoulder. "Ty ty what's wrong?" I jumped out of the bed and sat in the corner of the room crying. "Do you really love me, were you faking it a-all?" I sobbed into my hands. He came over to me but I scooted away. "Of course I do baby, I knew I was falling for you the day I met you. Don't ever think I don't love you because I always will." I haven't had a night mare since I met Josh, basically seven months ago. "Why are you crying Tyler?" I didn't fully understand what was going on, the dream felt so real. "You s-said y-you didn't l-love me, and t-that I was a f-fag. Josh no one c-cares about m-me." I tried my best to speak clearly. "No baby, oh no. I would never call you that." He pulled me into a hug, this time I didn't move, I let him hug me. I sobbed into his shirt. I kept repeating the phrase "it was just a nightmare.". He seemed to really care and I don't know what I did to deserve him. "I love you" I finally managed to say clearly. "I love you too." He whispered while playing with my hair. He took my hand and led me back to bed. "It's four in the morning, do you want to cuddle and go to sleep?" Josh asked as we sat on his bed. "Im kind of in the mood for a late night walk, you don't have to come though." I got up and grabbed my backpack. "I'm coming with you there is no way I'm letting you go alone it's dark and I'm scared someone's going to hurt you." I looked at his eyes and said. "I can protect myself, it's ok Josh get some sleep." He sighed. "No I'm coming with you, it sounds fun." I kissed his cheek and said "thanks." I pulled out sweat pants and a hoodie from my backpack and put them on. He put on a long sleeve shirt and we walked out of his room.
We exited the house quietly making sure not to awake the people in the house (maids, butler, etc.). "So where to?" Josh said grabbing hold of my hand. "I don't know let's just walk down the street." I said as he typed the gate code to exit the property. "Sounds good.". We walked down the street holding hands and I sung him the lyrics to my song "we don't believe what's on tv." He listened and stayed quiet till I had finished. I really didn't notice I was singing it loud enough for him to hear till I finished. "Ty you have a beautiful voice! Did you write that yourself?" He said after pecking my cheek. "Thanks, I wrote it when you were in the hospital." I blushed and leaned my head on his shoulder. We sat down on a bench and looked at the cars pass by. "Tyler, would you do me a huge favor and become my boyfriend?" My eyes started to water, I was so happy. "Of course!" I wrapped my arms around his neck and sobbed. "Aw don't cry Ty." He played with my hair and I relaxed in his arms. "I'm just so happy, I love you Josh.". "Ty I love you too." We walked to the park and swung on the swings then lyric ideas began to pop in my head. "Josh you drum for a band right?" I remembered Franks advice. He looked at me and said "yeah" my band mates left me alone a while ago so I thought maybe we could become a duo. "I sing, play the piano, ukulele, and bass!" He stared at his feet for a moment confused then said "oh! I know what you're trying to say." I jumped of of my swing and said "we can become some sort of duo since my band has a little bit of fame." He nodded and said "my house has a studio maybe we can start making music soon." I was so exited for our future. "We can make a sick album!" He kissed me and giggled. We walked down the street then it started to look sketchy. "Josh we should get going now." I said holding onto his muscular bicep. "Yeah you're right." I yawned then leaned on his shoulder. "Are you tired?" I nodded. We had around 10 min of walking left and I knew I was going to pass out in any moment. "I'll give you a piggy back ride." I yawned once more and said "no it's fine Josh, you must be really tired too." He stopped so I did too. "No ty it's fine I'm wide awake." I agreed and hopped on his back. I leaned my head down on his shoulder. My eyelids began to feel heavy. "You're so cute" I heard Josh say. I giggled tiredly and drifted to sleep.
