Monday 23 September 20**
I am Professor Evan Macorov, and I have been working on a new element. My hope is that this element will protect people from all the types of pollution that are currently destroying our environment. The main sources of the pollution are the millions of factories around the world. These factories are producing a caustic smoke that is killing the population. We have made a prototype of this element that we are calling Project Shadow. Today, Project Shadow, will be tested on a volunteer. He will be monitored continuously to see if he can survive the smoke in the air, and to see what side effects might occur.
Tuesday 24 September 20**
The test was a success! The volunteer survived exposure to the smoke in concentrated form. So far, there are no apparent side effects to the element. Project Shadow is going great. After years of work, people will be able to live their lives and go outside without fear. It will be like it was before all the factories were made. We are keeping the Volunteer to see if there are any future side effects of the Element. The other scientist think it's ready for public use, but most of us believe more tests are needed to make sure there are no unforeseen side effects of the element.
Wednesday 25 September 20**
The element has killed the volunteer and we have to start over on our years of work to so we protect the public. The scientists around here are getting weird readings off the volunteer. He is being contained inside the lab until there are no more readings. We have already begun working on a new element. Our ultimate goal remains that of protecting the public from massive amounts of pollution.
Thursday 26 September 20**
Chaos has overtaken the lab. It appears we have doomed the world! The volunteer has awoken but he is not who he used to be. The element we exposed him to, has had unbelievable reactions. The volunteer, who no longer posess any human features, is turning the entire lab into shadows. Shadows are hostile, tall dark creatures, that are not harmed by physical matter. I have not found a way to stop them. Shadows can not phase through walls, but they can phase through glass.
If anyone finds this journal, DO NOT ENTER THE LAB! The lab has become a death trap. The shadows feed on the pollution, and while trying to help the world, I may have created a bigger problem. It's time for everyone to try and survive the attack of the shadows.
