Stine and Hannah were surprised at what the puppet had just exclaimed.
"But Slappy, you love Shelly," Hannah stated.
"You are not thinking straight, Slappy," Stine said. "You do not really mean that."
"Yes, I do!" the puppet exclaimed, growling. "Why should I get married when my own Papa had been keeping that secret from me for so long? He wanted to replace me!"
"Slappy--" the writer began, but Slappy interrupted him.
"And Snappy is better than me! He is stronger and more powerful! He is even handsomer than me!" He looked at me and stroked my cheek. "And Shelly deserves someone who will actually protect her. After all, Snappy is another version of me, only better."
I shook my head. "No!" I cried out as I hugged him tightly. "I did not fall in love with him. I fell in love with you."
"But my brother looks exactly likes me. Plus, he will be better at keeping you safe." Slappy looked up at Stine. "I am a defect anyway."
"No, Slappy." I held his face in my hands. "Do you not love me?"
"Of course, I do. But I just want you to be happy. And if you would rather be with my brother---"
I then kissed him deeply. Stine and Hannah looked away. Snappy just smiled evilly.
I soon pulled away from the kiss. "I love you, Slappy. I will always love you."
Slappy slightly smiled at me and pulled me into a hug.
"Do not leave me," I whispered to him.
He kissed my head. "I will not," he whispered back.
Snappy laughed. "Sure, you will not leave him, Shelly," he said. "That is, until you are mine!"
I shook and gripped on Slappy. Slappy frowned at his brother, and then picked me up and teleported us out of the house.
"He creeps me out," I finally spoke.
The puppet nodded. "I know." He set me down and took my hand, and we raced down the driveway.
"Where are we going?" I asked him.
"Somewhere to keep you safe," he replied. "But first, we are going to get married."
I gasped. "Married? Right now?"
He nodded. "We are not waiting any longer. You and I love each other very much, and no one, not even my brother, Snappy, can separate our love."
"What about our families? What about Hannah and Mr. Stine?"
"That does not matter right now. What matters is us being together forever. Besides, Papa lied to me, and Hannah would try to stop us."
We soon got into town and went inside the chapel.
"Slappy, what about my wedding dress that Mr. Stine and I got?" I asked him.
"...stay here." The puppet teleported and came back with the wedding dress. "Put it on, sweetheart," he said as he handed it to me.
"Okay." I quickly went into the restroom and put my wedding dress on, and then came back out. "How do I look?" I asked, blushing.
Slappy smiled. "You look so amazing."
I giggled. "So I was not amazing before?"
"Oh, you always look amazing and beautiful."
He took my hand again and looked around for the minister.
"Where could that minister be?"
There was no sign of the minister, so Slappy grabbed his phone and tried calling him. But alas, there was no answer.
"What are we going to do now?" I asked, feeling a bit concerned.
"Hmm. I have an idea," Slappy responded. He picked me up and carried me out of the chapel and into the woods.
Just what was his idea?
