{Attribute test~}

"Oh! You've broken through! Good work~" Xi Feng pet Zhou Yun's head intimately as the little form bashfully smiled.

Xi Feng and Bo Lin had overheard the ruckus over by the lake and when they went over, they saw Zhou Yun excitedly jumping around and Zi Lei smiling helplessly at his little disciple. With warm hearts, they finally knew what had happened and quickly went over to praise their little monster of a disciple.

"Since you've entered Red Rank, don't you want to check you attributes?" Bo Lin has a subtle smirk on his face, his eyes filled with amusement at his disciple's joy. Xi Feng simply giggled.

Zhou Yun's laughter suddenly cut off as realisation washed over her. She had actually forgotten about the attribute test and was over the moon with her cultivation progress. Because even if one had the highest level of cultivation, without any attribute to use, it would make becoming the strongest entity extremely difficult.

But just as she was about to shout her agreement, she felt something strange coming from her fist. Peering down into her left hand, she carefully inspected the cause. The bead in her hand that shouldn't been warmed by her grasp was still cool to the touch, and when she looked at it carefully, she noticed a strange feeling or atmosphere was being produced by the bead.

"Master, I think something's changed with the [Moonstone Bead]." Zhou Yun said simply as she pushed her hand out to Bo Lin.

At the sound of her words, the three converged towards her palm like it was made of gold. Without even needing to stare as intently at it like before, the three pairs of eyes widened as they each muttered under their breath, I see, I see.

"Disciple Yun, I've just come to a conclusion about your Clan Pendant. I can't believe I've actually forgotten about this..." Bo Lin laughed as he mocked himself for forgetting something so simple. "Although we three are in the Mortal Realm, because we belong to clans of the Immortal Realm, we too carry Clan Pendants. It's just that, your Master was too shocked before and actually forgot all about them and hence didn't realise that something was missed. Clan Pendants in fact have a specially property about them. Because they have been created with the soul as a catalyst, this means that whenever your cultivation level changes, your pendant would also follow suit. So, the [Moonstone Bead] in your palm as taken up it's own special reservoir of Qi with equal cultivation rank as you."

Zhou Yun changed the way she looked at the bead, turns out, it's even more special than I imagined.

"Truthfully, this isn't the only thing that a Clan Pendant does." Bo Lin laughed at how Zhou Yun's eyes changed while looking at the bead. "Remember how I said that we're going to check for your attributes now? To be honest, I was going to use a special method to check for your attributes like the people in the Mortal Realm do, however, now that I actually remembered the additional property of the Clan Pendant, we'll be using this instead."

Zhou Yun could only give him a disbelieving look. She glanced at him, at the bead, then back at him. It was as though she was asking with her eyes, you can't be serious... right?

"It's true! Come, the Clan Pendant can reflect the owner's attributes and even the strength of those attributes. The brighter the colour, the stronger it is. It's too bad Clan Pendants can't tell you you're body's condition instead though..." he finished with a sigh, but still moved forward to stand in front of Zhou Yun and her open palm. Smiling, he looked down at her.

"Come Disciple Yun, let's check your attributes! I'll do it slowly, so watch and learn the technique I use. Attribute or not, this technique is neutral and can be used by anyone with Qi cultivation on another's pendant as long as their rank is of equal or higher rank."
