{Practice Practice Practice!}

It was finally a new day, and waking up, Zhou Yun felt that although her body was still aching from last night's drama, her mind was now strangely refreshed. Was it because the curse was being restrained? Nonetheless, she got out of bed; doing a series of stretches, she looked down to the sealing artifact hanging on her neck. The beads emitted a slight luster that would go unnoticed normally unless one looked at them carefully in a place with poor lighting.

Touching the beads, she felt warm inside knowing that there were people that cared strongly about her well-being. Hopping off the bed and slipping into her shoes, she changed into clothing suitable for training. Straightening her Qipao and fixing her long black hair, she couldn't help but think that long hair was extremely annoying, despite it being beautiful and all. Flicking the plait back over her shoulder, she went out of her room to eat breakfast and start her training once again.

Sitting at the table across from her was Zi Lei, who looked up to the newly awakened disciple.

"Remember, I'll only permit you to attend the Semiannual Test here once you've finished up all of your training routines. Including the training from your technique Manual."

Zhou Yun made a non-committal sound with food in her mouth as she scarfed everything down. The greatest thing about travelling with her Masters, Zhou Yun had realised, was that all the food they provided, even if it was the most simple dish, was always nutritionally balanced. All the food she ate was healthy, and provided for her all the energy and nutrients that she needed to get through the day and her intensive training.

Feeling lucky on this point, she also felt that despite eating so much food, she hadn't gained any weight but rather, became more fit. Is this the magic of being a cultivator...?

Finishing up, she once again bound off towards the open field for her training.

Whilst travelling to the field for training, her mind was churning through the information in her mind. She recalled that time she tested for her attributes back in the forest and felt it strange that while she was training her first technique from the manual, none of her unique attribute characteristics showed themselves.

Was it because she hadn't mastered the technique yet that it hindered the results? Zhou Yun suddenly understood that it this was likely to be the case. Since she was unable to fully release the potential of the technique, this in turn hindered her from showing her attribute's full potential.

Knowing this, she found a new motivation to mastering the [Body of Lightning]. She instinctively knew that the moment she reached the peak of mastery of this first stage technique, a powerful might would be unleashed. However, she also understood that this was a little while off from here and it would require a good amount of personal training and cultivation before she could achieve the results she wanted.

Seeing that it was almost first light, she quickly rushed out forward, wasting no more time with her thoughts.

Just finishing up her routine body training and cultivation, she sat down underneath a nearby flowering Magnolia tree and started to seriously study the first technique [Body of Lightning] and try to incorporate her [Lightning] attribute's core strength into it. 

This was because of what she realised before coming to train today, that despite being able to make use of the first technique and make it appear, the true strength and advantages of her innate [Lightning] attribute were no where to be seen!

Understanding from her Master's explanation, incorporating the true core strength of any attribute would enable the cultivator to have many more times the amount of strength and destructive power. It was just that this step was extremely difficult, and only very talented cultivators were able to so this. And this would be after long arduous training sessions long after they've mastered the technique.
