{First Stage: Body of Lightning}

"Master Zi Lei, where are we?"

After having left the Hidden Archives, Zhou Yun had parted ways with Bo Lin, Elder Cai and Xi Feng who went off to help and watch over the Semiannual text preparations. She was motioned to follow Zi Lei and not having been told anything about their destination, she had just followed him blindly until now.

At that moment, they were currently standing in an open field where there was a lack of trees and vegetation. Zhou Yun looked arundel curiously at the landscape and as her mind proceed everything, a grin suddenly grew on her lips.

"Master! Are you going to be helping me learn from the [Thundering Clouds Manual]?" She asked excitedly.

How she came to this conclusion was that her Manual was [Lightning] attribute focused, and that meant the had to go somewhere that would create the least amount of backfire during training. With hardly any vegetation, it was easier for the lightning to be earthed and not infuence the user should things go wrong. As it was her first time to use [Lightning] with an intention, she would have be monitored carefully.

Seeing that she had realised his intentions, Zi Lei showed a light smile before gesturing for her to take out her Manual.

"Although you've chosen your Manual, you haven't actually looked at it properly, correct?"

With Zi Lei's accurate deduction, Zhou Yun felt a little embarrassed and took out her Manual silently. Seeing this, Zi Lei laughed a little and let her go off and find somewhere to sit and read the first section on her own. Once she felt she was ready, she could come over and call him to start training.

Holding the Manual in her hands, her heart once again felt excited. She remembered back in the other world, he time training; although it wasn't the most beautiful time as she was already a part of the Underground at that time, it was still am invigorating time. She loved learning new things, especially those that were physically and mentally challenging. Only then could she really feel alive. Sitting around and lazing about didn't sit well with her and made her bored; it especially made her feel like she wasn't using her body to its fullest potential and thay she was wasting her good physical condition. As a result, she had picked up speed reading and even inadvertently trained her memorization ability, making her one of the best in recalling and keep records of things in the Organisation.

Finished reminiscing, she opened the book to the first section once again and too see the section titled: 'First Stage: Body of Lightning'. Before, she had only guessed what this section would be focused on through the name of the section, and didn't actually look carefully at the content.

Continuing to read, it was practically what Zhou Yun assumed it had been.

The main intention of the first stage was to asign the Interal Qi inside the body the [Lightning] attribute and keep this attributed Qi circulating through the body. What this did was charge up the body and make the best defence the strongest offense. Unless someone was of the same level of cultivation and attribute or was a high level [Earth] attribute user, once coming in contact with the lightning induced body, it would discharge through the area of contact and strike them. Not only would this stun the opponent, but would also lower their defence and slow their attacks.

However, the main issue was that to master the first stage, the cultivator would need to subconsciously assign the [Lightning] attribute to their Interal Qi. If they had to counsiously do this each and ever time, not only would they have to split their attention between circulating and their battle, it would greatly affect their battle capabilites, making them weaker compared to not using this first stage technique at all.
