I had left the thrown room but I could feel Titus's eyes on me even roaming the halls of the great capitol.
He shows no aggression toward me or my people, as he is fortunately aware of the great threat we hold against his home.
We are passive and generally lazy people to be honest.
We come from generation upon generation of wolven ancestry, from birth we are more aware and more capable than average people.
A baby is crawling and talking and usually walking or learning to walk before a year after birth.
Something in our blood makes us special, more advanced than almost all of Lexa's armies.
I myself can take out at least twelve of Leksa's strongest gaurds without breaking a sweat and although I'm not the weakest member of my army, I'm no where near the strongest.
My village was built around a valley near a forest that provides good water, plentiful harvest, and bountiful hunting.
The location has managed to avoid all the most inconvenient weather, we have very nice days and cool evening breezes, and because we're all smart, strong, happy, and full.. Most of my village consists of farmers, gathers, hunters, fishermen, and other generally lazy workers who just do their part to keep the good thing going.
We're a community of sorts and I try to stay very close to my people.
My army consists of one hundred and fifty active men, fifty of which are active riders. We have over fifty riders on stand at all times and over 200 live/inactive foot soldiers.
As a girl I was often out with my mother and aunt, out in the forest with the gatherers.
My Aunt Vi'tolia (Veh-tull-yuh) was the leader of almost eighty strong women who made honest money frolicking through the forest and dancing with the river trees.
My mother and I would often adventure with her in the woods closest to the valley.
One morning not too long after my fifth birthday my mother and my aunt took me to see the newborn wolf pups in the forest, we would tend to them as we would any of our animals, grooming them, feeding them, and I would often romp with them through the trees.
I loved being one with the wolves, my aunt always told me I must have had mutt in my blood.
That afternoon one of the pups challenged me. It scratched my jaw and bit my shoulder but I grabbed the back of its neck and sat on it. I smacked it's snout and from then on it followed me around and soon enough became my best friend.
I formed an emotional connection to my wolf comanion and gave her the name La'ika (Luh-eye-kuh)
She has always been very agile and grew with me to be strong, quick witted, and a respected leader.
Laika and I alone could probably take out half of Polis on an off day, depending on how many of Leksa's people are stupid enough to enter a tower manned by a six foot wolf and a born-to-fight super-soldier.
I married Leksa and left my village in my aunt's care so we could be one step closer to this peace she promised me.
As long as the sky girl can make good on her word this nation is well on its way to harmony.
The luxurious tranquility my people have adapted to may not be the true way of this life but it is certainly better than triku chaos.Leksa disagrees.
She believes a war is in order..
My armies are more than prepared to take out the capitol. Leksa is aware and nervous.
