"So...who are you going with tonight?" The girl asks her friend with implying voice.

The friend giggles and covers her face.

"Come on, who is it?" The girl pries her hands of her, and holds them down, jumping up and down. "Tell me, tell me, tell me!"

"David asked me!" The both girls start to scream and giggle like crazy, the squeals sounding through the whole hallway.

"I feel like they should put this in the brochure." Bailey stands in front of the wooden cabinet in her side of the room, even though technically the room is still all hers. "My parents didn't say anything, and I don't really have that much fit for a ball."

"They assume you to know." Chase states as he fixes his hair in the bathroom mirror. "Most who go here live in town."

"This works?"

Chase pulls his hand once more through his hair before entering back into the room.

The dress is floor length, falling straight down from her waist in light vertical ruffles, and stretches up over her shoulders in a v-line that goes further down on her back then front. To the right on her waist is a bullet wound of orange gems, dripping down the side.

"Yeah, looks great." He shoves his hands in his pockets.

"Only one I brought." She puts on her earrings and grabs her phone, smiling at him as she takes him by the arm. "Pays off to be well prepared."

The lawn and the doorway of the venue is littered with students. Chase leads Bailey past them, focused at getting her from the October cold rather than from the looks coming from surrounding girls.

Getting inside they get a drink from the table and walk to stand along the wall. The room is illuminated only by the lights in the front, cold white light playing out over shadowy bodies moving to the music.

"Well, this is fun." Bailey smiles sarcastically and takes a sip from her drink, scanning the surroundings.

A shape loosens from the crowd, and walks over to them. Sweeping over the room to establish the other teachers' positions, they turn their attention back to Lance.

"You two look to have fun." He grins, his hair the same mess as always, but body now dressed in a suit. Black jacket, pants, tie, all similar to Chase's.

"Oh we are." Bailey takes another sip and Lance smiles at her tone. He reaches into his inner pocket and pulls out a small metal flask.

"Bailey's for the Bailey." He hands it to her, shielding her from the teachers' view from across the room. She hands her cup to Chase, who puts both his and hers down on a table, and tilts the flask into her open mouth. Cold sweetness run down her throat, as she straighten her head back up, wiping her mouth, and hands it to Chase. He raises it to Lance, toasting, before drinking. The flask is emptied to the last drop between them before the song has ended.
