Chapter 4

Cameron picked me up and drove us to the movies. He had a tux on and he looked handsome I had to make myself look away before he caught me nearly drooling. He looked over at me and smiled. I smiled back, my hand under my thigh and pinching myself to keep from grinning like a pure idiot. I had to hide my snicker and turned on the radio. An LA station was playing. They started playing "Honeymoon Avenue" by me. I pressed my lips together in a firm line and looked out the window. Cam looked over at me as I held my breath, scolding myself to not act stupid. It's just a hangout. Shutup and enjoy it, you're not his girlfriend. "You okay?" He asked. I turn to him. "Ah-uh, yeah. Just, uh, um, you know-"

"Tired? Yeah, I know. We didn't have to hangout today, I was going to let you rest, but you still offered." I nodded. There was a brief silence between us. I gasped and slapped him on the arm. He laughed. "I know, it's not an insult, smartass," I raised an eyebrow and crossed my arms. I could feel it. My cheeks were hot. I had butterflies. I was blushing.

We finally got to the theatre. He got out and opened the car door, and the theatre door for me and we both went inside. We shared popcorn and got our own drinks.

"They're going to kill me," Tris looked at Four.

"I'm not going to let that happen." Four says.

I obviously couldn't control myself and I was smiling stupidly, but I didn't care. I looked over at Cameron, and he looked like he was into it a little. He glanced over at me and smiled, and reached over to squeeze my hand.

After the movie was over, we went to dinner. Cameron bought dinner for me and we shared dessert. He drove me back home and opened the car door for me. I got out and smiled. We hugged each other. "Thanks for the movie and dinner, Cam. You're the best," I grinned, holding my clutch tighter. he shrugged. "You're such a kiss up," he laughed. I rolled my eyes and thumped his forehead. "Ouch! Okay, I was joking." He smiled and shoved a hand into his front pocket. "You're welcome. Did you want to hang out tomorrow?" He asked. I thought and tapped my foot on my driveway. "Ummm, actually I have to go to Santa Cruz. Shooting another video on the beach and on the rides. You can tag along if you'd like." "Actually, I have plans, too. Gonna go to Nash's place and gotta set up for the next tour for Magcon with the guys. Have fun though, I'll miss you," he winked. I laughed. Looking at him in the moonlight, his eyes sparkling and his hair up on a side. I sighed. "Well, uh I guess I have to get going. Thank you Cam, love you so much, have fun tomorrow with the guys. Post some vines," I winked and laughed. He smiled and hugged me again. The hug was a little too long, but I enjoyed it. He walked with me to my door. I unlocked it and walked in, taking my shoes off. I made a kissy face at him, and he laughed. "Zayuummm, ya gotta bae, or nah?" I finished it off, "Ya trying to date, or nah?" We both laughed. He bent over and kissed between my eyebrows. I hugged him and put my arms around his neck and he put his hands on my waist and back. I shivered inside a little, and it was a good thing. I doubted that he could tell. He pulled back and winked. I laughed and he waved goodbye, walking back to his car. I watched him pull out of my driveway and then leave.
