Chapter 17

"So, Ariana. There have been rumors that you and Cameron have been dating. Is that true?"
I smiled and reached for Cameron's hand. He was sitting next to me, waving to fans in the crowd. I asked them to let Cameron on with me, and they did.
Cameron laced his fingers with mine. I nodded and sighed.
"Yes."
The interviewer nodded and smiled. "When did you start dating?" I glanced at Cameron. "Mmm, I think four or five days ago," he replied. I turned my head and grinned at him. He smiled and kissed my lips and put an arm around me. I leaned into him, inhaling his smell-axe and fresh, white cotton. The fans in the crowd screamed. Cameron and I both laughed and waved at the crowd. I turned back to the interviewer. She sucked in a few breaths. It seemed like she couldn't take the screaming. After that, we talked about our careers and what the fans would look forward to. Cameron and I signed and took pictures, then went out to eat. I grinned at him idiotically. He laughed. "What?" I shook my head and giggled. "You're adorable." He rolled his eyes and blew me a kiss. We finished eating and went to go shopping. I went to Chanel, TopShop, and NastyGal. Cameron went to his stores and clutched onto my hand all along. "Cam!" I said, grinning. He laughed. "Ari!" I smiled. "I have a surprise for you, but it's from a little back. I ordered something. For us." I swung my bags around. He smiled. "Aw, what is it?" he asked. I shook my head and grinned. "I can't say, you can get it when we get back later at the hotel." He nodded. "Okay, can you give me a hint?" I twisted my lips to one side of my face. "Ummm, it has something to deal with decoration, like designing I guess," I laughed. "Damn, okay, uh, does it deal with houses or anything?" I laughed. "Oh my god, Cam. It's an order. It comes in a box. It's a decoration thing, not a house! And no, not really for something for houses, I think." I giggled and slapped his arm. He blushed and laughed. He was hot, I admit. He was hot when he blushed. He shrugged. "Okay."
All of the sudden, fans swarm around us. I grit my teeth. "Hi loves, hi!" I smile and take pictures with fans, still holding onto Cameron's hand. I had sunglasses and a hoodie on, and so did Cameron. I lifted my sunglasses a little to see the fans more clearly. Cameron took pictures with other fans, too. We spent about 15 minutes saying hi, taking pictures and signing autographs. Cameron and I got separated, but eventually, we found each other again. One girl said she loved Cam and I together so much, she said we should get married. I laughed and hugged her. A taxi cab came by, and Cameron and I got in. I cracked open the windows a little. "Bye loves, love you!" I blew kisses and Cameron waved, his hair messy now. I put the window back up. I loved my fans a lot, but I sometimes wish they wouldn't clatter all around the street, messing all our hair and clothes up. I sighed. I turned to look at Cameron. I laughed and tried to fix his hair. I got out a comb from my purse and tried again. He laughed and took the comb from me. He pulled me in for a soft, warm long kiss. My stomach leaped and I grinned. He combed his hair and handed it back to me. I put it back in my purse. Just then we arrived. Cameron paid the taxi driver, and we both walked inside. We got to our room and dropped out stuff. I tried my new clothes on and my two new purses I bought. I grinned happily. Cameron laughed. "You know," he hesitated. "I could've bought that for you." I shook my head. I walked over to him and stood on my toes. I kissed his cheek softly. "You do too much to buy all these things for me, Cam. You don't have to waste your money on me," I smiled. He shrugged. "Anything for you."
Just then there was a knock at the door. Cameron went to go open it. "Uh, special delivery to Ariana... Dallas?" I hesitated and ran to the door. "Ariana Grande, actually. And yes?" "Sign here, please." I signed and thanked the man. He walked away. I held the small box in my hands. Cameron looked at me with curiosity. I grinned hesitantly.
"Surprise."
