Kami's POV

"Please, save our country." The king begged the guilds that had gathered in front of him. I stood with Sabertooth, holding Sting's hand as the king explained how there were 10,000 dragons coming.

"Of course. After everything this country has done for us, it's the least we can do." Sting said and several others agreed.

"Thank you...pumpkin." The king said. 'Wait...what?' That last part caught everyone's attention, but I ignored it.

"Kami." Chandler, who had changed into new clothes, said from behind me. I turned my head to listen to him. "I think that we should stick together. If we combine our power with Sky, Ross, Lilith, and Delaney; we'll be unstoppable."

I smiled. "Let's kick some dragon ass!" I cheered. I give Sting a quick kiss on the cheek and let go of his hand to find Delaney and the others. He grabbed my hand before I could go to far. "Kami, be careful. If you need me, just call." He said and pulled me closer to him to give me a kiss on the forehead.

"I love you." I said. He smiled. "I love you, too." He let go and I ran to join Chandler and the others.

"Alright people, I'm not gonna give you guys a pep talk about how we can or cannot do this." Chandler said as the rest of our team gathered around him. "Truth be told, this is gonna get crazy, it's gonna be dangerous, and we are probably going to die. But if we do this, we die legends." He said.

"Sounds good. What's our plan?" Delaney asked. Chandler started drawing a model in the dirt. "Okay, I think we'll have a better chance of defeating a dragon if we set up in the middle of the city. We'll be able to conserve magic power if we stay in the same area during this."

"Okay. So, you guys will be traveling on foot?" Skyquake asked him. He nodded. "It's the best way." "Okay. Let's get going." Ross said.

We took off running towards the center of the city. I was at the back because it wasn't easy running with two swords and your back. We could hear roaring in the distance, but it was getting louder. "Laney!" I called ahead of me. "Can you tell how far away the dragons are from here?" I asked. "Their coming this way, fast. I don't know how far away exactly, but I'd say we've got about three minutes before we meet one." She said while running.

"Stop here!" Chandler yelled to the rest of us. We stopped behind him and peered around him. "Laney, how many?" He asked her. "I can't see from here." She said, squinting. "I can help, De." Lilith said and lifted Delaney into the air. "I see...seven-no, eight dragons." Delaney confirmed. (I had to change the number of dragons)

"Alright guys. Kami, Ross, Lilith: you guys provide cover from the air. Sky, Delaney, me: we'll cover the ground." Chandler commanded. Lilith let Delaney down and changed into the large cat that was her battle mode. Ross and I flew up and got ready. "Nothing gets past us. No matter what." Chandler said.

Sure enough, a dirty gold dragon (Idk) came around the corner with someone one its back. It was a woman with long black hair that was tied up in a ponytail and blonde bangs that covered half of her face, she had a tattoo on the side of her face, and she had a blue outfit that showed most of her skin.

"Delaney, go!" Chandler ordered. Delaney ran forward towards the dragon. "LIGHTNING DRAGON ROAR!!!" Delaney exclaimed. A large blast of lightning came out of her mouth and hit the dragons face. It remained unscathed.

"Kami, Ross: Maneuver 4!" Chandler yelled up to us. We both flew towards it. I wrapped a chain of wind around its neck and Ross did the same. We both pulled back, only to have the chains cut by the woman on its back.

"Skyquake, go!" Sky ran for its feet. "Crystal Make: Lance!" She said and a large pink crystal grew out of the ground. It clamped around the dragons neck and Sky used her hands to manipulate the crystal into throwing the dragon into some nearby buildings. Ross and I landed safely on the other side of the dragon and watched it fly.

The woman jumped of off the dragon and landed between Skyquake and us. "Who are you?" Skyquake asked her. She just smirked and lunged at Sky. "Lightning Shadow Dragon Wing Attack!" She said. Before it hit Skyquake, Delaney grabbed the woman's wrist and stopped her.

"Well, well. I've been looking forward to this." The woman said and punched Delaney in the stomach. She flung Delaney over her head. We all went at her, trying to kick and punch and hit her. Nothing we did affected her.

"Lightning Shadow Dragon Charge!" Her attack sent us all back. "I've had enough of this crap!" Chandler growled. "Who the hell are you?!" He practically screamed at her.

She giggled. "I'm so sorry. Where are my manners? I'm Delaney Cheney. Formerly known as Delaney Dryer." She said, smirking.

"W-what?" Our Delaney stammered. "That's right. I'm you, from seven years in the future." The Future Delaney said. "In my timeline, Rogue and I started dating only a few days after this. It was good, until...Frosch died." All of our eyes widened. "I was the only thing keeping Rogue sane. Unfortunately, when me and my team took an SS-Class job, I died. Rogue blamed you two for my death." She pointed at me and Ross. "He killed you two, Sting, Chandler, Skyquake, and a whole crap ton of people. Eventually, he was able to use your healing magic to bring me back to life." She finished.

We couldn't move. Any of us. We were frozen in place.

"Goldfinger! Take care of these pests. I have my own extermination to preform." Future Delaney yelled and disappeared into the shadows. "Yes, my queen." The gold dragon said. It came up out of the rubble and attacked us again. We all dodged.

I noticed Delaney running off down the street. "Laney, we need you! Where are you going?!" I yelled to her. "I'm going to change not only my future, but Rogue's too!" She yelled back.

I flew over to her and grabbed her arm. "Laney, look at me." I lifted her chin so that her eyes met mine. "I'll go after her. You do what you're meant to do: slay that dragon." I said to her. I smiled and nodded.

"I trust you, Kami." She yelled to me as she ran back to my siblings. I smiled at her and turned towards the street that Future Delaney disappeared down.

"Game on, girly girl." I said and ran down the street.
