"Look, look I found a dead lizard Rose," Jamie squeals happily running into the hospital waiting room. I am waiting to apologize to that girl's family that I hurt at the plaza. Apparently I gave her a big concussion.

"It's very cute," I grimace as Jamie shoves the dangling lizard in my face. "It also stinks."

"Five bucks if I throw it at the receptionist," Jamie smirks evilly.

"You shouldn't---" I stop in the middle of my sentence. There really is no point in stopping her. She's going to do it anyway. Money or no money. She does these type of things for fun. "Whatever."

"Yay!" Jamie skips over to the receptionist and she looks at Jamie questioning.

"Is there something you need?" The woman asks annoyed.

"My lizard got ran over I need you to help him!" Jamie cries holding the dead lizard by his tail in front of the woman.

"Gross! We don't treat animals this is a human hospital!" The woman shrieks and jumps out her chair.

"You treated me and I'm not human," Jamie says innoccently and smiles. "All I want for you is to treat Mr. Spikes with the same respect you treated me."

"How about I call the mental ward on your ass?" The woman snarls backing away from the counter.

"He moved!" Jamie shrieks and tosses the lizard. "BOO-YAH!" she yells when it slides down the woman's shirt.

"Ohmigosh! Ohmigosh! Ohmigosh!" The woman hops around shaking out her shirt.

"B!tch," Jamie mutters and comes back to sit beside me. "Enjoy the show?"

"Why do you do stuff like that to people?" I ask her.

"Because...." she loses her smile and turns away from me. "Because I just want to help you."

"How is this helping me?" I ask her incredulously.

"When I act like this it keeps mom and dad's attention on me and not on you," she says so quietly I almost don't hear her.

"Please don't do that. You're only 14 I can look after myself," I tell her.

"Whatever. I'm in for the long haul so get as comfortable as you can because this is going to be a bumpy ride to hell." Jamie crosses her arms over her lace chest and leans back in her chair. "Isn't that the girl you're supposed to apologize to?"

I look to where Jamie gestures and I sigh.

"Good luck," Jamie smirks.

"Thanks alot." I groan and stand up wiping imaginary dust off of my baggy gray sweats.

I approach the middle aged husband and wife supporting their daughter and the younger man with them. "Excuse me?" They look my way. "I am really sorry for what happened the other day. I really didn't mean to hurt her. I just get really angry sometimes and people get caught in the crossfire."

"Lian hold your sister," The father hands the girl over to the younger male and jabs his finger into my chest. "You're lucky we didn't press charges and put your ass in prison for assault." He threatens me.

"Dad chill---" The father cuts his son off.

"You better keep yourself in check before I take you down," The man snarls even closer to my face.

"Get away from me," I growl. "Do NOT talk to me that way! I come here to apologize to your daughter for something she deserved! I'm just sad I didn't kill her," My anger--like always--gets the best of me. I don't know why I can't control it. It just eats my insides and worms its way through my pores to reach the outside.
