"Okay I was wrong. You are crazy," I give Liam a bewildered look.

"Crazy enough to go out with you?" He smiles.

"Wow, aren't you just a bold little peach," I shake my head at him.

"Mango actually," he smirks at me.

"Stupid actually," I quip back and he leans back in the booth beside me.

"You are so mean to me," he smiles. "All I want is one date."

"Who wants to date a girl who beat up their sister?" I look at him out the corner of my eye sipping on my orange juice.

"Veronica is actually my godsister and she can be kind of a b!tch sometimes," he looks over at me. "Aren't you allergic to oranges?"

"Nope! I lied. That's something to add to your 'I know' list. I'm a liar," I stand up in the booth and jump on the table crossing over it to the entrance door.

"If you could do that the whole time what took you so long to do it?" Liam calls out to me as I open the door.

"I was planning it," I shrug.

"Or--you secretly wanted to sit and talk to me," Liam brushes a hand through his hair. "You did kiss me."

"That I did," I smirk twirling out of the door."

**

"You can't do that!" Jamie shrieks at me when I tell her about the kiss I shared with Liam.

"What?" I ask confused.

"Look--you just can't kiss him and ditch him. It's in the Girl Code," Jamie twists a strand of her dyed black hair.

"He'll live," I shrug. "Plus what do you know?"

"I know more than you. I actually have had boyfriends," Jamie glares at me.

"You only had boyfriends because you threatened them with knives," I giggle.

"Eh, enough of the facts. Let's think optimistic here. Did you give him your number?" Jamie folds her legs beneath her.

"Why would I do something like that?" There's a loud smack as Jamie connects her hand with her forehead.

"I'm going to bed. You're completely hopeless," Jamie gets up from the living room couch and enters her room down the hall.

A few minutes later I knock on her room door.

"YEAH BABY!" Jamie screams for me to enter.

"Stop yelling," I rub my head. "I'm going to the library. Wanna-"

"Never, never, never. I'd stab a pitchfork through my skull before I step into a library willingly," Jamie flips over onto her stomach on her bed and I hear a couple of her piercings clack together. "Shut the door on your way out my little minion."

"HarHar. Do that yourself dutchess," I walk out her room.

"Queen b!tch. I rein supreme!" Jamie yells as I walk out of the house.

I walk down to the community library which is only about 2 blocks away from our house.

"It's alive!!" A couple of boys snicker as I walk by. It takes everything in my power not to have Jamie curse them.

"It's alive and eats douche bag boys," I mutter and one of them hears.

"You're such a freak," he tells me.

"Go change your f*cking tampon," I snarl at him getting angry.

"Only after you change yours," He snaps back.

"You are such a genius!" I say sarcastically and enter the library.

"Hi Rose it's been awhile," The librarian, Ms.Wilkes, smiles at me.

"I know. I've been really busy," I grab any random book off the shelf and sit down at the table.

"Well okay then," she goes back to clicking away on her computer.

I open up the book and start to read. The library is my safe place. Where I go when my parents make me feel like more of a freak. When I get angry. When I get sad. When Jamie and her witchcraft gets too much for me. This is where I come.

There is no reason for me to be upset today though. I'm sure tomorrow will be worse. It's my birthday.

Well this is the extremely depressed author of this book. I'm depressed because my FANS won't give me any feedback! But anyways if you have read this. Tell me what you think of Jamie.
