"Last class of the day," Neil murmured as he walked down the hall.

"Too bad you have to spend it with me," Harrison purred, appearing out of nowhere. The brunet didn't even flinch this time around. He had an idea of what the charming boy was doing, and he wasn't planning on falling for it. He decided to ignore him.

Neil looked the other way. The older male was slightly hurt- he didn't like being ignored. But he knew what his crush was doing.

See the problem yet?

"C'mon, you know the cold shoulder technique isn't very effective on me," he chuckled. The scientist simply quickened his pace. He wasn't backing down that easily.

"You can't ignore me forever," Harrison told him. "We're kinda stuck with each other."

He let out an irritated sigh, but said nothing more. He pushed opened the classroom door and walked it, head held high. The door slammed in the strawberry blond's face.

The adult smirked to himself. He wasn't sure why, but he loved it when Neil was being difficult. When anyone else did it, it was either desperate or annoying. With Neil, he was actually trying to avoid him, but failing nonetheless. It was actually pretty funny.

He reopened the door and walked in, taking a seat next to the agitated boy. "You're not getting rid of me that easily."

The scholar huffed, but kept his gaze forward. He knew Harrison would crack eventually.

Throughout class, he kept trying to get the boy's attention. He dropped pens, bumped into the desk, even sent the other a text. But the nerd held his ground.

Once class ended, he was growing impatient, craving even the slightest acknowledgement. Neil was the first one out, leaving him behind.

He quickly caught up to the brunet. "Come on," he muttered. The younger stayed quiet.

Harrison was starting to crack. "At least say something."

He casted him a sideways glance, but stayed silent. The illusionist finally broke.

"Please? Talk to me!" he whined. The teen smirked. He grabbed onto the other's arm. "Say something, anything!"

Blue eyes locked with green ones. Neil finally spoke as they got to their dorm.

"It's surprisingly easy to weaken you," he said softly, pulling out his keycard. He slipped it in and watched the light blink, then stepped inside.

Harrison caught the door. "At least you still know my weaknesses." he snickered, following his roommate inside.

His expression turned into one of confusion. "And what's that supposed to mean?"

The magic performer grinned. "If you actually remember stuff about me, you must not hate me as much as you claim to."

Neil scoffed. "I never said I hated you," he mumbled as he shifted through his bag.

His eyes gleamed. "I know. And I'm glad you don't."

A/N: This has nothing to do with anything, but I was listening to "Hate To Love You" and "Take Me or Leave Me" while writing this...
And they fit. So. WELL. ~FB667
