Sunlight filtered in through the window, hitting Neil right in his eyes. He shielded his face with his hand and sat up in bed. Blinking a few times, he reached over for his glasses...
... And instead stroked Harrison's hair.
He jumped, before remembering who it was and why he was there. Everything was a bit blurry, so he laid back down in defeat.
A pair of arms snaked around his waist and drew him closer. The brunet blushed, realizing he was being spooned. He felt hot breath on his neck and a kiss being pressed to his shoulder. "Morning, Sunshine."
"G... Good morning," he stuttered out. The male behind him giggled and nuzzled his neck.
Neil glanced over at him, heart pounding. In a split second decision, he pecked Harrison's cheek.
The magician opened his eyes, surprised by the display of affection. "Aw, you do like me!"
"Yeah, because I'd totally sleep with someone I hated," the younger muttered, rolling his eyes. "Of course I like you."
The strawberry blond smiled pulling the other closer. "So, are we a thing now?"
"Um..." He chewed on his lip in thought. "Maybe?"
"Let me rephrase that." Neil whined as Harrison let go of him. He quickly slapped a hand over his mouth, blushing furiously. His crush blinked in surprise, cheeks dusted pink. "God damn, you're adorable..." he murmured. He shook his head. "Anyway, wanna date?"
The scientist sat up at looked at him. "Why are you so straightforward?" He sighed, running a hair through his hair. He reached over and grabbed his glasses, sliding them on. His vision was finally restored and he froze at the sight.
Harrison's hair was a mess, and he was shirtless. Somehow, the male was wide awake, green eyes glimmering with love and playfulness. Neil couldn't help but stare.
The entertainer smirked. "I know I'm good-looking, but you don't have to stare that intently..."
He snapped out of it, feeling the blood rush to his face. "Shut up. It's not my fault you're hot." Realizing what he said, he coughed awkwardly.
The older male laughed. "Damn, you're honest in morning."
"Shut the fuck up, Harrison."
"There's my hot headed crush."
Neil's face was bright red at this point. "Make that your boyfriend."
Now it was the charmer's turn to blush. "What?"
"Um, didn't you ask me out a minute ago?"
"Yes?"
"Then my answer is yes, I will date you." The scholar grinned at his boyfriend's surprised expression. It only stayed there for a second, though.
His eyes lit up and he tackled the other in a hug. Neil gasped and fell back onto the bed. Still trying to process what was happening, he hugged back. "Calm down, it's not something to be insanely excited about."
"Oh, but it is." Harrison hovered above him, happiness radiating off him. "You have no idea I've wanted to hear you say those words. How long I've wanted you to be mine. How long it even took to get your attention. Hell, how long I've had to wait. But do you know what?" He leaned down, lips grazing the other's. "It was worth it."
