"Can I just block her number?" Neil asked, growing irritated. He heard a hum from the other side of the phone and bit his tongue.
"I can ask her to tone it down some, if you'd like," Max answered. " Or you could tell Tab yourself."
"But I don't want to come off as rude!" he hissed, starting to pace.
"Blocking her seemed like a rude option to me."
"Damn you for being right," the brunet sighed. "I'm sorry, but she's just annoying as hell. What kind of bet did you even make with her?"
The line went quiet for a few seconds. "You don't want to know."
"If I didn't want to know, then why would I ask?"
He heard the teen let out a frustrated sigh. "Do I have to tell you?"
                              "I'd appreciate it."
"Fine. We made a bet on whether Preston's really kinky or not. Let's leave it there."
Neil stopped pacing. "O... Oh. Really?"
"Yeah. Anyway, that's why she has your number."
"Ok... But how do I politely turn her down? She knows I'm with Harrison, but she keeps pushing! The last text she sent me was literally asking me on a date to Olive Garden. What should I do?"
"Calm the fuck down, for one," Max grumbled. There was some shuffling on the other end before he continued. "And two, tell her you're not feeling up to it. She'll take the hint eventually."
"She better," the brunet mumbled, lowering his voice. "Because if this keeps up, Harrison's going to go off on her ass."
