"Hey Neil~!" a high-pitched voice cooed. He rolled his eyes and forced himself not to sigh. "Hello, Tabii."

The blonde skipped up beside him, her eye gleaming. "How are you?"

"Fine," the scholar answered, straining to keep the bitterness out of his voice. "I should've taken the bus instead of walking."

"That's good..." she murmured, matching his pace. "So, Max told me you wanted me to 'back off some'?"

Neil froze for a split second. "Yeah...?"

She shrugged. "My bad, I guess. Should've got to you sooner."

"Um..." he tried to quicken his pace, but she kept up. "Maybe so... Though honestly, you're not really my type."

Tabii raised an eyebrow. "Oh? Then what is your type?"

The brunet hummed and stared at the clouds. "I haven't really thought about it..." He bit his lip, thinking.

"Tall... An asshole at first... Sweet... Stubborn, to a point... Hm... And a little bit of an idiot." He laughed some, and Tabii joined him.

"Sounds familiar," she commented, pulling out her phone. He glanced over at her. "Really?"

The teen rolled her eyes. "Hello? Your boyfriend?"

He blinked, surprised. "It does describe him some..." he thought. He shook his head. "Anyway, what's your type?"

"Nerds and geeks," she answered quickly. "They're adorable when they start talking about something they know or like, and even more so when they discover something new." Her gaze travelled back up to him, waiting for a response.

Instead, he just nodded and said nothing. "The main reason I told him to tell you off was because Harrison's been a little... Y'know..."

"Jealous?"

"I'd call it overprotective," the scientist corrected her. "He has his reasons, though."

"I get it. But trust me, I'm so over you," she snickered, tapping at her phone. She shoved the screen in his face. "I have the hots for him now."

He pushed the phone out of his face. "Dolph?"

"No, not Dolph. The cutie beside him."

Neil looked at the guy for about two seconds, and he could tell he was a geek. "Nice. Good luck with him."

"Thanks," she purred, pulling the phone back. "But yeah, tell Harry I'm not a threat."

"Harry?"

"Harrison."

He scoffed at the nickname, but nodded. "Sure thing..."
