Landon's POV
May 18,2016
I look out the window of the train, watching the trees and buildings go by. Whatever I do, I can't get her out my mind. And I can't even be mad at her. I just wish I had a way to hear her sweet symphonic voice again tell me she loves me. I roll my eyes and turn my head from the window. A worker with a cart of snacks and drinks comes to me. "Would you like a refreshment sir?" I look through my bag and try to find.
"How much is the bottle water?"
"$1." I dig in my book bag to find a dollar and accidentally drop my bag on the floor. I try to pick everything up and find an ipod shuffle. I pick everything up and plug my earphones in, pressing play.
Hey, it's me. Um, I assume you're already on the train now and we already said our goodbyes so I'll try to entertain you for the rest of the ride. You're probably wondering what the hell is this or why I made it in the first place. But the reason I made this was to tell you everything I could't in person. So, let's begin. One, I always dreamed of finding the one. Sounds stupid I know but, it was my dream. Two, I am a crazy cat lady. I thought that if the whole finding love thing didn't work out I could always hoard cats and start a cat fashion. Three, I never thought in a million years that my life would end up this way. But in a way, I'm glad it did... because I got to meet you. And four, I fell in love with you the moment you walked into the hospital room. I was just too scared to admit it. I guess I just didn't want to hurt you like I have with everyone else I've loved. You made me feel like I was human again. Your smile brought me back to life, and I just wished and prayed that I did the same for you. And, I want you to live your life. I want you to find love again and to just thrive without me. I want you to be the yourself. Because the real you, is the best person I've ever had in my life.
