So we finally got to the swimming hole but being a cat afraid of water I skidded to the edge. Simba jumped in with a big splash and I hid behind a rock before the water could touch my fur.

"Hey Michelle!! You coming in," Simba shouted.

"Are you crazy? We're cats, cats are afraid of water!"

"Not this wild cat!"

I rolled my eyes and walked to the edge again. I dipped my paw in, the water was warm and inviting, I was tempted to jump in. Instead of stepping in on my own I felt someone push me in.

"Ahhh!"

I burst through the surface and looked at the shore. I saw Simba smiling from ear to ear.

"Come on, really!?!?"

"What? Oh come on you can't tell me that swimming isn't fun."

I splashed Simba and he just shook it off.

"Oh now you're gonna get it," he said jumping in.

We splashed around and noticed Timon and Pumbaa come out of a bush.

"Hey guys you wanna sleep here for the night," Pumbaa asked, "the dodo came by and we asked him to ask Mufasa if you can sleep here."

"Well if my dad says yes, then why not."

"Then you'll be happy to hear, little master, your father has said yes," someone said.

We looked around and saw a red-billed hornbill in the tree.

"Zazu! Thanks, can you tell my dad that we will come back during the after noon?"

"Fine but this is the last time I'm flying here today," he complained as he flew away.

"I'm guessing that he's usually like that."

"Yea, but today is one of his good days," Simba said.

"Well then we better get a move on, its almost dark, and you know what happens in the dessert at night."

"Oh good point, lets go," Simba replied quickly.

"Wait a second, what happens during the night? Guys?"

"You don't want to know Michelle."

"Uh yea I do, that's what I'm asking, Simba."

"Hyenas."

"Hyenas?"

"Ed, Shenzi, and Banzai, they're bad news."

I was gonna shrug it off but I couldn't stop myself from asking, "Who's their boss?"

"Boss?"

I thought back to the movie and remembered that Simba's uncle Scar controlled the hyenas' every move. I decided not to get involved let it go.

"Forget it. So where's this place you guys are taking us," I asked quickly trying to change the subject.

"We're already here," Timon announced pulling a curtain of vines back.

There were no words to describe the room except, "WOW!"

"I know right, vine and palm leaf hammocks, plush leaf and flamingo feather pillows, and the best part," Timon said excitedly.

He walked over to a tree stump with a rock on top. He lifted the rock and brought out this huge, "GRUBS!!'

"Ew, gross," I cringed.

"Oh just try one, its good. Simba's done it and he loves them."

"Well I wouldn't say 'love' exactly, 'like' is more of the word to use," Simba shrugged.

Timon handed me the grub and it wriggled in my paw.

"Hey Michelle," Simba said, "hakuna matata."

"No worries?"

"No worries," he assured.

I slurped the grub down and was impressed that is actually tasted pretty good.

"Pretty good," I shuttered, "but slimy!"

They burst out laughing. I couldn't stop cringing at the fact that the slimy residue was still in my mouth.

"Yea that's the one problem with that, but you'll get used to it when you hang around here a lot," Simba told me.

"Alright bed time," Timon said yawning.

"What? No games first," I said.

"Games," Pumbaa asked hopefully.

"Yea like truth or dare, charades, etc."

"Oh how about truth or dare, that sounds fun. How do you play?"

"We take turns, asking each other questions that must be answered truthfully and giving each other dares that you can't back out of."

"So..."

"So Simba, truth or dare?"

"Dare."

"I dare you to.... Eat your whole private stock of bugs in exactly one minute.

"No problem," he said as he walked off to his stock.

We played that for a while until we heard Timon snoring and decided to call it a night, except for me and Simba.

"Michelle," Simba whispered.

"Yea?"

"You still awake?"

"No I'm past out," I said sarcastically.

He laughed at me, "Are you still thinking about whether or not you're dreaming?"

"Honestly, I have no idea what to think any more. Right now I'm worrying that if this is a dream, what happens when I wake up tomorrow? I don't want this to end, I'm having too much fun."

"Same. I'd be crushed if you left."

"Aw, that's so sweet."

"What can I say, I'm polite like that."

I laughed and felt myself growing tired by each passing second.

"Simba, I'm about to pass out."

"I am too. Good night."

"Night."

My eye lids felt as heavy as led and they finally closed. Please don't let this dream end, I prayed. I was in my favorite movie and I had just met Timon and Pumbaa. I don't want to leave yet.
