{Mariah's POV}

we discussed the plan and all though I didn't like the idea I was bait ..I was still in. during school I was hanging out with one of my closest friends that recently moved to beacon hills . Chardeja.

she has been hanging around the guidance counselor recently and has been avoiding me. until I found her in the hallway.

"hey .!" I said as calm as possible.

"hi.?" she said back. she looked like she was in a hurry .

"why are you avoiding me.?" I asked and she looked up from searching in her locker full of papers.

" I'm not... its complicated Ohkay."

"what .?. you can't tell the girl that has been your best friend since 1 St grade..char?" I said getting a little louder.

"I'm trying to keep you safe." she blurted out.

"from what.?"

"the darach."

"huh.?"

"we'll talk later."

"k ." and just like she appeared quickly . she was gone in an instant.

why is everyone knowing about the supernatural world.?I thought long and hard on this question and I kept thinking until it was mission time.

I walked into a small place with Scott ..and Derek was standing there waiting for me.

" hello Mariah."

"oh wonderful we have company ." I said sarcastically to Scott.

as I stepped closer to Derek .I kept having flashes of memories . I walked closer and I grabbed his arm.

I saw a girl about my age with what looked like young guy I knew it was Derek. I think they were dating and they re making out.. and then something made them look at me I tuned around ..and then I snapped back into reality

I looked at Derek and a tear drop came from his face.

"what's wrong." I said to him.

"you don't know what you said .. do you.?" he said shedding another tear.

"what did I say.?"

"Paige." Scott said "you said the name Paige."

I realized my hand was still on Derek's arm and I quickly removed it so that it wasn't weird.

"but why can you see visions ." Scott said .

"because banshees have different traits to tell them apart ." someone said from behind us .. I turned around and Chardeja was in the door way . "Mariah has the visions , Lydia has the hearing , and some have agility."

"but we have one thing in common." I said walking towards Chardeja. "we all scream ."

I hugged Chardeja tightly cause' nobody could predict how this was going to end up.

I turned to the open door and let out the biggest scream I possibly could and hoped Ms.Blake was on her way.

I could see in my peripheral vision Scott and Derek on the floor .

I turned and Ms.Blake slowly emerged from the shadows.

"did you miss me.?" she said with a smirk.

"not as much as well miss you ." I said trying to sound tough but deep down I was terrified . Derek came from behind her and tried to claw but she dodged his hits and flipped him. he hissed in pain when he hit the floor.

I could hear something from behind me .. they were footsteps .

duecalion was alone .. he fought but it wasn't enough to beat her.

and with duecalion on the floor from being beaten badly .. she did the strangest thing ... she gave him his sight back.

after she did this she made a barrier of mountain ash around her. and not even duecalion could break.

but Scott stepped up and began pushing on the barrier. Ms.Blake looked at him and her smile was beginning to fade. I looked in Scotts eyes and they were turning from gold to blood red. he was still pushing until the barrier was broken.

Scott didn't want to end her life. he wasn't that kind of person and so duecaluon ran up and sliced her throat. it was so disturbing I had to look away.

Scott looked at duecalion with a stern look." I'm the alpha now."

I looked over at Derek who was on the floor." whos Paige.?"
